This is a fair assessment and I would like to add in the injury concerns had to be scary for the Brewers. The guy is young and had trouble staying on the field. Getting Yelich for him (plus others) could turn out to be a really good deal in the end.

For me, it is not that he cannot be DFA'd. Of course he can, if his play over a long period of time warrants it. It is the timing of the post and how it is worded that makes this like Joey Meyer Bombs said, clickbait.

You are severely underestimating a lot of our bullpen. But to each their own.

Exactly. It is extremely difficult to make one of the best high school age travel teams in the Milwaukee area (Hitters, Stiks, Prospects). The competition for roster spots is fierce. Might be hard to make some of the “best” travel teams but that doesn’t stop anyone from finding a travel team to play on.

Sliders have to be closer than this if you want a swing and miss. Can't miss three feet wide and low and expect a swing.

I agree. Is Jeffress available today? He pitched the last two games if I remember correctly and can't remember but might've gone more than an inning in at least one of those games. I just posted that because of his 2018 Bullpen comments. He didn't actually say it. Just wanted to play with him a bit! But yeah, Jeffress isn't coming in this game.
