    Maybe this is the Brewers earth? Maybe. Just maybe, these stat gurus that tell us how great or bad these guys will be were wrong? Because baseball isn't played on a computer.

    I mean it's pretty justified by this point, isn't it? It's not like last year when he was actually really good and people just hated on him because of his style of play. Sure.

    After taking off for 3rd and being out again.... I think CC said to himself I'm not challenging it for this crap... he was safe, called out, then like a tball kid took off for 3rd. He didn't overslide the base. oh my. He would've been safe at 3B if the ump made the correct call at second. Only reason he was out there was that he stopped running after an emphatic out call by the ump. It was heads up running knowing no one was covering 3B.

    Why wouldn't he be? He's been dealing before the ink was dry on his GM contract. Not only that but they have an opportunity to make the post season. How awesome is that?!?

    I'll trust Counsell's judgment. Plenty of people got after him a season ago on how he handled Santana/Broxton. Those two are flourishing. Just let the man do his job. Over analyzing just to have something to discuss.

    I more so think it's funny that he wanted to win so bad but yet blocked a trade to a team that was outs away from winning it all.

    He's doing this while not pitching all that great. Last nights relay play and Arcia up the middle play have saved him from two more blown saves.

    Mike Leake never pitched in the minors. He turned out alright. Each guy is different. Burnes is basically 23 and lighting it up. Bring the guy up and let him continue to do so.

    I think we had one once. Either way Burnes ain't happening. Heck they won't even let Hader pitch.

    The Brewers will be too chicken to call up a guy like Burnes. We'll get stuck watching Espino or Jungmann toss away any hopes this club has. It's the Brewer way.

    Maybe they won't. But maybe they will be. I'm guessing you didn't have them in first after 80 games either. You just never know when the streaks are gonna happen. Maybe they will go win 10-15 straight in August? You just never know but I do know they are in a good position to compete for the division. I didn't have them in 1st after 80 games because I didn't think the rest of the division would be this bad. 41-39 isn't that hard to believe . Okay great. So maybe then the rest of the division isn't that good or dealing with their own crap the rest of the way. People always want to crown the Cubs as a dynasty or just expect the Cards to win the division. Maybe hey just stink just enough for us to win the division with 85 wins. I honestly feel as though 30% of Brewers fans would still gripe about winning a subpar division.
