  1. Must be nice to have the foresight that you have and the ability to predict how every player is going to pan out.
  2. Bump it 10 games and I agree with all you said.
  3. People still record shows? I thought that died out a few years ago. I hardly watch anything live. Sports are about it and even that's changed a bit.
  4. Until you're able to record on streaming services, I just can't do it. I record basically everything and watch at a later date.
  5. if De Leon is off the table than Bellinger better be in the deal. If not, hang up the phone and move on. Let them continue to waste Kershaws best years.
  6. There you go. On the nose. Agreed. Use as many avenues/resources as you can because it'll be a long time before this team is complete trash again and I happily say that.
  7. Says absolutely nothing about Nottingham's future. He alone, controls that. If he shores up his defense and hits the way people think he can, he will have a future at the MLB level. It's really that simple.
  8. So we traded for a guy (Jett) that has just as good of an arm (Maldy's only real asset) and is four years younger and costs less money? Stearns is the man.
  9. Can we just call this argument a draw? Or close enough? Or can we state roughly $20 million? I don't know, just anything than beating this dead horse.
  10. I'd be all for this. Doesn't hurt to add more depth at that position.
  11. If I got a choice between McCarthy and Kazmir I would take on Kazmir just because he is a lefty and there is always a chance someone would bite on him if he showed success.
  12. In my bold prediction three weeks ago I said the winner of the NFC North will win at least one playoff game. Sticking to it. I hope we don't overlook a pesky Bears team this upcoming weekend.
  13. The Dodgers could always just pass on the contract of Turner. Then trade for Braun and put him at 3B.
  14. Packers got every break possible in that game. Am I happy they kicked the crap out of Seattle? Of course. But I will be real about the outcome. The offense is playing some great football as of late and if they continue, they have a good chance to beat anyone. Fun stuff!
  15. They should try playing defense. Usually does the trick.
  16. They should try playing defense. Usually does the trick.
  17. Or slippery field leading his hammy to tear for good. Season over. Go Packers, Bears (Lions), Cowboys (Giants), Panthers (Skins), & Saints (Bucs). Oh and I guess the Jags (Vikes) too!
  18. I wouldn't shut the door on it completely. Lots of variables. If Braun were willing to go to any team/market, that would drive up the price for him quite a bit.
  19. We are one more DUI away from getting our closer back.
  20. Are you saying pitchers who smoke don't have the makeup to be good pitchers?
  21. If it's for weed, the MLB is more stupid than I already think they are. Try being progressive for once in your history.
  22. Good addition for them but glad they are losing that draft choice.
  23. I won't be disappointed. I love watching him play and I am in the corner that he will be productive for a long period of time. I would be way more disappointed with a terrible return for such a good player. Not many teams have the type of bat he provides each game in their 3 hole. I also am in the corner that this rebuild could be shorter than most thought.
  24. Love the name. Love the frame. Love that he's left handed. Love the stats. Love Stearns using every avenue to make this team better. Hope this is one heck of a story in 2017!
  25. For what it's worth: http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/18066579/a-sensation-korea-eric-thames-make-most-chance-milwaukee-brewers Basically playing in a good bar league softball league.
