  1. It's all about what we'd have to give up to get him. It's too bad we didn't have Khris Davis around to trade for him.
  2. I'll be interested in seeing what Chase does next season. The report on losing his cutter because it was so ineffective and then him having some pretty good success at the end of the season is intriguing moving forward.
  3. The first one is on the right track probably. Add another prospect, probably a pitcher, and go for it.

  5. I don't get the weird food combinations. Just have quality food at a reasonable price and you will sell. I am all for a re-do of the concessions if that means I get a quality burger at a reasonable price.
  6. No way does Braun accept going to Toronto. Maybe Toronto would like him but he isn't going anywhere east of Milwaukee and definitely not Canada.
  7. Hank the Dog, probably... haha, that is actually who I was referring to. The Brewers announcing a food upgrade is about as underwhelming as following them from season to season.
  8. I would put CC Sabathia in there no questions asked. What he did in that 2008 season was absolutely amazing. He did more in his time here than most. I hope they consider it when he's through.
  9. That's why it was important they didn't suck and lose 100 games. This team competed. They played well. It's a good thing.
  10. I look at it like this. While this season losing wasn't fun, but it was like watching your kid go through a tough season but mature and grow before your eyes. Lots of positives to take from an 89 loss season. Whether you want to look at it that way is your call.
  11. I loved the season because it felt as though we overachieved when looking back upon the pitching that we had. Yes, Guerra and Davies stepped up. But it was another season of Garza injuries, Peralta and Nelson had long and horrible stints in our rotation and we traded away our second best player on the roster along with a closer that got the job done. No matter what type of rebuild happens, if they cannot find starting pitching, it will not matter. I'm not talking about a team full of aces but a rotation of 2-3 that give you a significant chance of winning and 2 others that keep you in games. If we can't find that, none of this will matter.
  12. This makes this season of rebuilding even better.
  13. https://www.facebook.com/NBCSports/videos/1091055684283116/ He's beloved in LA now.
  14. After reading the first post, there's no guarantee that he buys the ticket.
  15. Huh? People buy jerseys all the time. It's not like everyone had a Braun jersey 10 years ago. Plus there are new fans to the game constantly. David Ortiz and Molina have been around awhile and his jersey is still selling. You find anything and everything to try to be condescending towards Braun. And anyone who really enjoys the guy you want to smear this crap at them. For the most part, it's just not true. I'm sure Braun sales are doing just fine for Milwaukee 9-10 years after his arrival. I bet we could sell more Puig jerseys than Braun ones next year Braun is very enjoyable to watch. I am just not a giant super fan and understand why it makes sense to trade him. Elite prospect coming back or not. I would be more willing to bet that if we were any-what good, we'd be selling Braun jersey's like no other.

  17. Where did you get your numbers? They all are off from the ERA's I'm seeing. Not saying your point isn't right but just unclear on the numbers thing.
  18. You see a ton of Braun jerseys because everyone bought one half a decade ago and it isn't often people drop $100 on a jersey. Braun jersey sales are probably a drop of water in an ocean compared to what they used to be. Not to mention even when Braun is gone what will you see? Braun jerseys because it is probably the only one 90% of people own. What would be more important is jersey sales in the present which Braun likely leads now being the only All Star guy on the roster. But his sales probably don't reflect that of someone with his production and I doubt it is an amount we would be hurting over if we traded him. I am betting the last 3-4 years he has been outsold by Lucroy and possibly Gomez. About the only thing I could find but I'd be willing to bet he's still a prime guy for jerseys being sold. And if he goes to the Dodgers, they'll fly off the shelf in LA if he's hitting like he is. Keep trying to dog the man though.
  19. Always a sad time of year. Love football season but there's just nothing like a baseball season.
  20. Maybe we can trade Braun to the Rangers too. They can just become our major league team while Milwaukee can continue to be a minor league farm team.
  21. Not gonna lie. Stings to watch Gomez and Lucroy rake for the Rangers. Sick of the Brewers never being able to put a pitching staff in place to win. Being a Brewers fan sucks quite frequently.
