  1. Braun & Santana for Pederson + pitching
  2. How does it work for controllable years with a guy like Moncada? I feel like I remember hearing that he would be a free agent sooner? Or something like that. If so, that doesnt really go towards what the Brewers are trying to build.
  3. Meh, I think he can play three innings (maybe) or pinch hit in a game where he has 4-5 days off. It's good to have him out there for lots of reasons.
  4. Could he play 3B? Because if he can he's even more interesting for the Brewers.
  5. Who would've thought we'd be so happy to have Garza back
  6. Santana might want to use some pine tar. Lost his bat twice today already. Pathetic ABs from him today too. Looking like Rickie Weeks. Adjust man, adjust.
  7. Leaving a lot of runners on base today. I guess that's what a good pitcher can do to ya.
  8. Wily Peralta doing Wily Peralta things here in the first inning.
  9. I think the point might be that there is no blue print for the rebuild. That you just have to take every opportunity to make your ball club better as they present themselves.
  10. Moncada - Arcia - Villar around the horn? Oh boy!
  11. Nola is pretty good. Need more lefties in the lineup against this guy. That curveball will be tough.
  12. The downer (and I know it's the positive thread, I'll get there) is this team is a 6-8 game losing streak from calling the season BUT they are a 6-8 game winning streak away from turning some heads in the NL. Yeah we are not catching the Cubs but that second WC is always up for grabs.
  13. I am hoping they can add to the Arcia/Phillips/Hader/Lopez group. If they can, this rebuild can really take off towards that group of players.
  14. I guess the White Sox if he comes in an pitches well. Looking up the two guys that were traded I just am stumped. Do the Padres just need the salary relief?
  15. The Brewers bullpen is really, really good. Especially now with Smith back. If they can continue to get quality starts this team is pretty solid. At least until they start shipping guys off.
  16. Another quality start from Guerra too. Guy has been something for this Brewers team. 4 games under, 4 games back of a WC!
  17. Jeeze, didn't even notice. Of course Luc triples. Not that he would've last inning. At least it's all tied up!
  18. Braun too. Not that he needs to always get a hit but understand that they are not going to give you much to hit in that situation. Don't help them out.
  19. As Santana ropes one to left, I feel as though most of his swing throughs are due to him not keeping his head on the ball.
  20. If the Brewers are a game or two back at the end of July I could understand that thought. Still might not move him up as he hasn't hit all that well but I could understand it. Bring 4.5 back at the start of June? Too early.
  21. I think Briggs hacked your account. Should've been in blue. Was trying to crack a joke.
  22. Come on Braunie, get us back in this one! I think he only saw one strike the entire at bat.
  23. Scooter needs to go because his mistakes happen too often and he's not a good enough player to warrant keeping him.
  24. Nelson doesn't have the goods tonight. Getting swatted around a bit.
