  1. His defense needs to improve, yes. But overall for a 23 year old he's doing a pretty nice job. He's been asked to be our leadoff hitter and responded with an on base % of .360, not to shabby.
  2. As much as I want to see this as well, I just don't think it is in the plans of the Brewers this season. We might see him come September, maybe.
  3. I know it's correct, but I still think it's bogus. He missed it. To me, that's an error. He didn't miss it. He couldn't see it. Big difference.
  4. FSSD had him as the Star of the Game before the 9th. They might want to think about JJ as well for working around the error just like on Friday. 2 very impressive saves. No error on the play.
  5. Whew! That could've been a disaster. BREWERS WIN!!
  6. For everyone complaining about a lack of runs, just remember the Brewers of old wouldn't of even had most of these men on base. It will pay dividends eventually by being patient taking walks and the key hits will come.
  7. Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. He looks lost the last few games. I don't know what the rush was either. We had 2B covered pretty well in his absence.
  8. I've been on board with moving on from Maldonado for at least a year now. He's got an amazing arm and that's about it. His bat belongs no where near an MLB team.
  9. I fell asleep with the remote in my hand. Wish I had woke up to a better result.
  10. He's doing the one thing people have been clamoring for with the new regime, he gets on base. Yet after 60 at bats or whatever it is, that's not good enough to have a longer look for those same people. Dumbfounded on this one. People wanted patience, a count worker, etc... If this guy hits even the slightest he could be a real asset.
  11. I don't either. Here and there you have to take chances. Scooters horrible at bat and a perfect bang/bang throw over shadows those who always want to play out games "the way they are supposed to be played." More of just a talking point for most.
  12. You could just respect him for working the zone. If he can figure out hitting at all he will have an amazing value to the Brewers.
  13. Give it a rest. He swung through a good 3-2 change after working a 7 pitch at bat.
  14. Guys, it happens. It's the ebb and flow of a baseball season. They'll eventually snap out of it and put up 10.
  15. It's fun to see this Guerra guy have success. Very happy for this man to get an opportunity and make the most out of it.
  16. I couldn't agree more. The more people we can get in here and keep, ya just never know.
  17. MA finally opening that fat wallet a bit.
  18. Braun just not seeing that change up quite right tonight. Dang it. That's twice he's had a chance to plate a run with less than two outs and a runner at third.
  19. Yeah it does work in lower levels. I think it would've been a better call with no outs, if it was a call at all.
  20. That annoying eterial or whatever his name is isn't here. So that's a win in my book. I agree completely. Niewenhuis has been a nice addition to this team.
  21. It'd be nice to see the lead runner get on. Put some pressure on them.
  22. Damn. That had down the line written all over it. Now the bottom of the order for the 9th.
  23. Dang it Villar. Can't do that. You'll score from second.
