  1. This team continues to be too inconsistent at the plate. Go 8-10 games of not scoring and now an outburst.
  2. I love the guy. Smacking the ball around and gives you quality at bats.
  3. Or better yet, Peterson is smacking around the ball playing a decent CF. Also, Perez is a RH batter.
  4. I think it's very relevant to how Lucroy is viewed compared to let's say a Dominican player saying the same things. Lucroy is a "team leader" and a breath of "fresh air." Lucroy will still be a fan favorite while other players, people would turn on them very quickly. Racial discussions have historically ended up as three to five pages of nothing but a back and forth on race and politics. Hence we avoid them to keep things on topic. Sorry, thems the rules. Don't like it but understand. Moving on! Lol

  6. Move him. We have a big surplus in the OF.
  7. Maybe Jimmy Nelson is our ace? Sure would be nice.
  8. Yeah a Broxton type return is just fine. Get a guy with high upside and move along. We have arms to fill his role the rest of the way.
  9. Sign Alex Avila. Turns 29 and coming off down year so might get him for less. Adds a lefty bat in our lineup. Allows Maldonado to face lefties if we want. He's a guy that gets on base well and it pretty solid as a catcher.
  10. Hey it's what everyone wanted... Loses. Lots and lots of loses. So fun... Dang you Ron Roenicke!
  11. He's not going to get to start for them? Can't imagine that sits well for Fiers. I think he's earned to be a starter in this league.
  12. If he's not moved this offseason then he better only be utility next season. We have too many other guys that we should be giving a shot. (Sardinias, Rivera, Arcia)
  13. Don't look now but he's heating up again.
  14. C: Alex Avila 1B: Lind 2B: Gennett 3B: Dominguez SS: Sardinias LF: Braun CF: Reed RF: Santana C: Maldonado IF: Perez, Rivera OF: Peterson, Wren
  15. Start him. Even if it's in a 6-man rotation, start him and evaluate him as a starter. Silly not to.
  16. It's kindve simple. If the front office/MA is going to try to compete next year and the year after and actually go at a playoff spot then go after a shorter extension or let him play out his deal. If they are doing an actual rebuild and are looking to compete in 2017, then trade his butt and get some more serious prospect pieces for the future. Same with Braun and the rest of them.
  17. Let him play out his contract and see where we stand and see if he's still standing. Right now I wouldn't give him a dime extra. He's been bad and he's not really all too durable and only getting older.
  18. Like the new pitcher. Pounds the strike zone. Looks like he belongs.
  19. That just isn't true. He got 337 PAs in 2013 in 134 games. It would be great if he turned into Brady Clark as a guy who puts it together during ages 29-31. It is just rather unlikely. Most relevant are Schafer's poor AAA numbers. He fits better in AA than in the Majors. He was a poor hitter the day they drafted him, and predictably that's never changed. It disappoints me the Brewers didn't acquire some AAA player and give him his shot for the remainder of the year. He's never not looked overmatched. Never has shown any comfort at the MLB level. This better be his last stint as a Brewer because it's getting a little ridiculous.
  20. But he's hitting. Second hit tonight. If rather watch him at the plate than Segura or heck, even Lucroy at this point.
  21. An AL team should jump all over him. The Red Sox or Astros field would be a perfect fit for him. Allows him to not have as far of throws at home and can DH on the road.
  22. The lineup could be very amusing for tonight's game.
  23. Spent the past three years in rookie ball. Hasn't hit worth a lick this year at all. This will be very forgettable. Harsh assessment for a guy with only 86 AB's this year. Yeah, it probably was an overreaction.
