    If be more receptive to losing the divisions, dropping the season games to 140, and having a 16 team (8 each league) playoff format.

    Now we see why Lucroy sucked to start the year and why he whined to the press after a horrid start. Didn't get his money and now wants to be traded. Good riddance.

    I'm glad he doesn't. Texting for communication is nice. But to do business that way? No way.

    Now would be a great time to move a guy like Fiers. Turning 30, still is cheap, and he's never pitched better.

    I might be banned for even suggesting this but they have black holes at 1B and CF which we currently have two very good players at those positions. While we might add to their chances of winning yet another World Series, could this be the right time to set up our future while hurting theirs? The Axford for Blazek trade was nice but maybe we can get a stud or two from an organization that seems to draft very well.

    All it takes is for one or two GMs to value him high and it is very possible there are a couple. While I agree with how you value him, it doesn't mean all people do.

    I was hoping this was true and Walker was on the way with possibly others. Could be an ace and knock guys like Peralta and Nelson down a peg in the rotation.

    Do only negative comments apply to what I want to see in the second half?

    I'm looking for them to win out in July and be at .500 heading into August. Maybe a few minor trades (moving Parra, Cotts, Ramirez, Lohse/Garza) but keeping the core together and going after it in the second half with a very young pitching staff. I then see said young pitching staff to run out of gas in late September and miss out on the playoffs but giving us hope for the future!

    I don't care what round of the draft they come in as long as they come. With Peralta, Fiers, Nelson and now possibly Jungmann as options for a rotation with actual upside it's nice to be a little excited. Granted he could turn into a pumpkin, they all could, but it's always easier to be pessimistic in these situations. Usually you then are right more often than not.

    The point the other side is making is so what? They still haven't won a World Series so what they've done hasn't benefitted them as much either. Granted it's nice to have winning years but if you haven't won the prize it all didn't matter much.

    I don't care to look up the numbers but it sure seems like we hit a lot worse at home this season.

    Easy to run your mouth when things aren't going well. Takes a bigger person to keep their yap shut. Take these issues up with DM & MA in a private meeting. The rest of this is just a lot of hooee.

    This Wisler kid is painful to watch too. Pace on play clock needs to be installed ASAP. This [expletive deleted] throwing a pitch every two minutes is for the birds. Really wish we had a big bat coming up and not Segura, although he has been better as of late.
