Legs are sore. Seems to happen with him frequently. Time to move him.
-
Decent outing by Garza. Back to back warning track shots by the Crew too. Dang. Could've took the lead for Garza.
-
Is Lucroy ever going to start hitting? Getting old very fast.
-
And Scooter still sucks. Yay! ...
-
He gave them a chance to win. A good chance by only giving up two runs.
-
Braun hurt?
-
Lohse has settled in. Time to score some runs!
-
Id ask him if he wants to be assistant pitching coach.
-
Get. Over. It.

Woooohoooo!! Another series win! Seals a winning road trip. Let's get those brooms out tomorrow.
-
Close one there. Would've hated to see the kid get a no decision.

How about they keep both Jungmann and Wagner in the rotation? And Cravy, too? Peralta, Nelson, Jungmann, Cravy, and Wagner sounds like a nice, young rotation. Go 6 man with Fiers to save on the young arms. I like the idea myself but it'll never happen.
-
Haven't see the whole game but he's doing pretty well according to his stat line. This team needs Jungmann to be the next guy. Peralta-Nelson-Jungmann-Fiers and with Crazy and Wagner around this team could have very cheap starting pitching going forward.

2015 Draft Pick Discussion, Rounds 6-20

And was selected out of high school in the 29th round by the Brewers. It'll be interesting if they attempt to draft him again. Anyone have a clue at what wound that kid would be looking at going? -
Oh I hope we give Sardinas more than 70 PA's to show what he's worth. If we give up on him this early, there's no way he's going to get us anything worth a darn in a trade.

2015 Draft Pick Discussion, Rounds 1-5
pacopete4 replied to 1992casey's topic in MLB Draft & International Signings
I didn't even think of this but honestly, why in the heck does the MLB network not have live coverage of the draft? They have one job, cover Major League Baseball and they fail. Idiots. -
It's not like Thornburg has really done much as of late to impress. He's been a piñata in the MLB other than a couple years ago for a few starts and now he's getting whacked around in AAA giving up 12 hits per 9 and his strike out per 9 is at 6.9. Now maybe some of this has to do with Colorado Springs but it's still awful.

Nice win for the Crew tonight. 4-3 on the road trip so far. Man I wish they wouldn't of stunk so bad to start the year. Oh well, at least it's been more enjoyable.

2015 Draft Pick Discussion, Rounds 1-5
pacopete4 replied to 1992casey's topic in MLB Draft & International Signings
Isn't it kindve sill to feel this way about any draft let alone a MLB draft? It'll take 3-6 years before any of these guys are decided on if they are a bust or not. What looks good on paper today, might suck in a few years. -
2015 Draft Pick Discussion, Rounds 1-5

Lefties sometimes take longer to develop. Like both picks. Now we just need a little luck and have these guys pan out. -
Kang would've been a nice sign this off season. We might've missed out on that one.
-
I'm guessing you didn't watch? Brewers smoked a lot of balls today but right at players. It happens. But they did swing it pretty well today.
-
Um...do you even know the minors at all? There's some dude called Byron Buxton who plays CF and should be called up soon...perhaps you've heard of him. Unless you put Gomez at DH which is completely idiotic there's nowhere for Gomez in MN. Haha there's no guarantee that Buxton is called up anytime soon nor is there a guarantee that he hits when he does arrive. Gomez trade gets them a stud this year and with Hunter being gone next season, Gomez or Buxton slides over and now you have studs all around. Very nice passive agressive post though.
-
Another great running catch by Gomez to keep us within reach annnnd Gomez didn't realize it was the third out. Lol gotta love that guy.

After watching the Twins, they're missing another big bat and another pitcher to be contenders in that division. Maybe they'd like Gomez back and pair him with Lohse or Garza. We could as for something back like Hicks, Sano, Jose Berrios and maybe a mid level prospect of two.
