He loves Kintzler and wants him to be that 8th inning man. That's why.

Why does Roenicke love the sac bunt so much?

This is one of those great things about baseball. There are way more than one way to approach the game. No one will probably 100% agree on whether or not to bunt. There will be some managers who are successful that bunt more than others and there will be managers who stink that bunt more than others. It's just one of those things in baseball. -
Ok, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to post this in the minor league thread but it didn't look like anyone used that much so sorry if I am in the wrong. Brent Suter, has anyone seen this kid pitch? Looking through his stats this year and seeing how he's improved pretty much every season has me really intrigued. He's a 6'5, lefty that doesn't seem to walk many and strikes out plenty. Is this 31st round draft pick, who is already 24 coming around into something special?

Bianchi, while great defensively, can be upgraded. It really is surprising that it hasn't already happened.

It amazes me that people are more mad at RR than they are at the players for not being able to execute something that should come very natural to them as major leaguers. I'd always take my chances trying to get a guy to 3rd base with a guy on 2nd base, no outs and Bianchi at the plate with Gomez behind him. You have one of your worst hitters up followed by one of your best. -
Ok either make a deal for Wang or send him packing. He's just not ready to be here. Oh and Hererra? Gross.

Wish we had Nelson as the #5 and Abreu at 1B. Garza might just suck. Hate watching him pitch.
-
Does once for two runs count? Love it!
-
Garza might be our most inconsistent starter we have. Let's get the bats going!
-
Love seeing 2 pages of convo way before the game starts even. Lots of excitement in the air!

Winning last night allowed us to give another day off for Braun, Segura and Ramirez. They may pinch hit late if the game dictates it but overall a great move to get them another day of rest before we are off to Cincy. Come on Crew, get another one today.

Good time for a steal attempt I think.

Anyone feel that Roenicke looked upset when speaking with ARam on the bench while Thornburg warmed up this passed inning?
-
This is on you. And you know who you are.

Bush League post. Come on man!
-
Dang. He just missed it. Just want some success for Rickie. GOMEZ!!
-
Time for Rickie to knock one outta here.
-
My name is Kyle and I'd be more than happy to help out.

Honestly though, why are pitchers not taking at bats like that all the time? Choke up, foul stuff off and just snap your wrists and put it out there. Great job.

Yes. Yes. Yes!!!

One more 20 pitch inning outta do it. Come on Lohse! Come through.
-
I really wish our camera at Miller Park could sit more central like the Cards have. Much nicer to watch.
-
Tick, tick, tick. Keep that pitch count climbing.
-
Overbay keeps on stinging it! 3-1!

Back to back inning with a RISP with 2 outs and nothing. Dangit. Gotta come through in those spots.
