I think there's enough there to hold off on just looking at his numbers. Jean is jumping at the baseball right now, early in counts, because he's 22 and wants it too much right now. He'll be fine. Just gotta have some patience with him. He's actually on the perfect team right now. No pressure because the rest of the lineup is lights out the last 2-3 weeks. He'll settle in.
It wouldnt be so bad, if the rest of the team wasn't good. Honestly, if they all stunk I wouldnt care at all. Just chalk it up to a bad team/season. But, nooooooooo! It's like 3-4 guys. Constantly. 3-4 flippin guys that have tanked this entire season. Blame the manager, GM, blah blah blah. But its mainly 3-4 bullpen arms that have trashed this season. I hope Krod says hes retiring after this game. Go pitch in the old timer Dominican league or where ever he came from.
It was like yesterday when they were talking about Fiers being a "gamer" and just showing up and doing his job when his number is called. I do not feel that way, especially after the playoff meltdown and basically all of this season, about Marcum. Like you said, time to go. Let our young, hungry guys go at er.
Why not have Brewers just go 27-6 the rest of the way? Because a seven-way tie would be awesome. Haha yeah, that and it wasn't a prediction or anything. It was just a graph showing at 88 wins what it would take for us to be in. Nothing more.
Here is what would have to happen over the rest of the season to have a shot at getting in with 88 wins. MIL: (62-67) 26-7 (88-74) ATL: (74-57) 14-17 (88-74) STL: (71-59) 17-15 (88-74) Pit: (70-60) 18-14 (88-74) LAD: (70-61) 18-13 (88-74) ARI: (64-67) 24-7 (88-74) NYM: (61-69) 27-5 (88-74)
was that supposed to be in blue? Didn't he turn down a bigger contract than that from us already? Hoping he sucked for another month and the price went down a little.
