Stinky loss. Great outing by Peralta. He's a keeper. Might be the most talented on the staff. Hopefully we bounce back tomorrow and win this series.
-
It really is too bad this team cannot stay healthy. Eventually this will catch up with them and cost them games and maybe a lot of them.
-
It's not that Marco is bad or anything but I just feel Nelson could be a really good one. I wish we could find out.
-
Come on. At least tie this baby up!
-
Schafers time with us can end too. He just won't hit enough to be worth it. Give someone else a try
-
Garza is about as overrated as they come. This guy sucks. What a waste of money this will be watching this clown attemp to pitch the next few seasons.
-
This ones over. The great start to the season will be erased in no time.

Looks like those days off helped...

http://www.jsonline.com/sports/brewers/cc-sabathia-made-huge-impact-during-short-time-with-brewers-b99265753z1-258577001.html?page=1 If you get a few minutes, read that article. If you don't get some emotion remembering just how awesome CC was from July on for us, basically willing us into the playoffs, I don't know what to tell you. I really hope the crowd is packed this weekend and they give an even louder ovation for CC than they did for Braun. This guy deserves it. He had nothing to really gain and everything to lose pitching three games on short rest and not only pitching them, but throwing a ton of pitches in doing so.

If there's a liner, he better just stand on the bag.
-
It's more about situation. I could not see the game but if it was a good pitch to hit, sure, whack away. But if it was a bad pitch, with bases loaded, not a great time to be swinging.
-
Comical. Wow...
-
This is where if your managing the Dbacks, you yank Arroyo before he does implode. You got a lot out of him today. Why push it?
-
Of course they stink. Ya just knew that the first month was too good to be true. This team will probably win 80 games. Too many holes and not enough consistency from guys to make a run, plus Braun as good as he is, is a panzy.
-
Why are we pitching to Goldmember anyways?
-
Losing a series to these guys at home is inexcusable.
-
Already 4 hits given up today by Peralta. No runs is nice but that is a lot of hits so far.
-
It says Lucroy grounded into a DP and then I'm not sure. Awesome website!

This pisses me off. We paid good money to get MLB Extra Innings and the one game I give a damn about isn't being shown. It comes down to FSN Wisconsin too. Just pay for all the games and get an extra set of commentators if they need a "day off"
-
Off to a good start!
-
I think the game is regional only on MLB Network
-
It takes a village.

The answer of course is yes because Melvin/Antonnasio(sp) track record shows they are willing to go out and get pieces when they have a legit opportunity to win. Does it mean we'll go get a CC? Probably not. But I can't imagine no roster upgrades at all if we're in the position to win a division come July.

Shawn Zarraga - Development & Potential
pacopete4 replied to JohnBriggs12's topic in Brewers Minor League Talk
This guys screams backup MLB catcher. Hits from both sides, decent defensively enough where he won't hurt you. Could be a nice piece for a team to have whether that's us or not, time will tell. -
Who would've thought Scooter would be our 3 hole for a good portion to start the season. Oh and we'd still be 10 games over .500
