I hope Lucroy makes them pay.

How does a Mark Reynolds not get known for his defense over a a long career? I mean he's been amazing this season and we keep hearing how it was some big secret that he's really good in the field. Not sure how that goes unnoticed. He's really good.
-
Peralta an ace? Not yet anyways. Too many of these type games. Herrera stinks. Figure something out Melvin because your depth stinks.
-
Wooten kind've stinks too. Can we ever get some hard throwers in our pen? Sick of seeing 90mph FBs out of basically everyone not named Smith.
-
Damnit Davis. Put it in play.
-
Why are we having trouble with getting a game thread lately? Estrada stinks. Don't bother flipping me his stats, he stinks. Time for a change.

At what point does Nelson replace Estrada?

Estrada has to be replaced. As much as I want to see it go to Nelson, at least let Fiers be the 5 -
Is this site going downhill? No game thread... brutal.
-
Well so much for Braun getting a day off then lol.
-
This would be a very nice win if we can pull this thing out.
-
This is the reason I will never trust Garza in a playoff stretch nor in the playoffs. Choke artist, weak minded fool. Bad signing.
-
Honestly do managers even tell their hitters to be situational hitters anymore? I think the best thing about luc is how well he does all the little things.
-
Hey way to shorten up and put it in play Gennett. Guys are too prideful these days to make adjustments. Just hack away. Brutal.

At what point does Nelson replace Estrada?
pacopete4 replied to phnxcrew's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I don't think there's any big deal adding Estrada to the pen. He can be a guy that gives you 2-3 innings every 3-4 days. -
I wish Kenny Lofton was batting leadoff, but yeah I get your point.
-
Probably a fantasy but that would be great. Loney/Zobrist would be a significant upgrade over Overbay and Falu/Schafer You're probably right about fantasy but you are definitely right that it would be great. Moving Weeks would have to be a key in that deal, whether to them or someone else or even FA, because Zobrist would have to be slotted into 2B with Gennett and then Zobrist would fill in against righties at SS, LF, RF.
-
Estrada needs to be the long man. It's that simple. He and Duke can take turns going 2-3 innings a piece.
-
Also time to put a Gomez back at the lead off. No reason scooter needs to be up there getting the extra ABs.
-
Estrada just can't continue at this pace. Insane to keep rolling him out there giving up the home runs.
-
Going by the numbers it doesn't make a lot of sense but they're scoring a lot of runs lately so RR is not going to mess with it.
-
No game tomorrow. He can rest then. We are going for a series win!
-
Hopefully they'll smack him around and get another series win, on the road, against a divisional opponent. Get at it!
-
Home runs are demoralizing to a team. Estrada is killing this club every give days.
-
Figure out how to keep Wang from Pit, move Estrada to long man and bring up Nelson. Just gives up way too many home runs. Awful.

gets us to 50 wins before we step foot into July. Boy would I love that!
