Positive is that Lynn has already throw like 40 pitches. Keep racking them up and get to the pen. Can make a difference tomorrow too.

Bianchi puts together nice at bats. He'll never be a starter but he is an easy guy to root for.

Where are the Cardinals in terms of payroll? Just out of curiosity because they may need to add a bat in their lineup and was wondering if they had the means or would be willing to do that.

Lyle Overbay is doing his job and doing it well. His job is to hit RHP and get on base. So far, he's doing just that. I have no desire to make a move for a guy like Dunn when we have a cheap version that is doing his job. Overbay is hitting .294, OBP of .415 with an OPS of .856. He's had 3 extra base hits and added 5 RBI's with 7 walks in his short stint so far. If he continues doing his job, why are we complaining? So far, he's doing his job just as well or better than Reynolds and a heck of a lot better than ANYONE we put at 1B last season.

4 @ CIN (2-2) 3 vs ARI (2-1) 3 vs NYY (1-2) 3 vs PIT (2-1) 3 @ CHC (2-1) 4 @ ATL (2-2) 3 @ MIA (2-1) 3 vs BAL (1-2) 2 vs CHC (2-0) 16-12 is what I'll go with. If we do I'll be ecstatic heading into June at roughly 35-21. -
As hot as ARam was, he's stunk lately. Day off would be good him.

Overbay is just heating up. Played well over the last couple weeks.

I'm with ya man. Even though they play 162 games in 182 days, I just can't get enough Brewers baseball, especially since they are playing so well.

I guess why not both players appeal? Wouldn't we rather have him get 3-4 games instead of 5? Same for Gomez.

5 Games per ESPN Thoughts? Should he appeal and try to get at least one game reduced? I think so.

I almost want Green to come back up just because I am sick and tired of hearing about him. I'm not sure what he has done to become the second coming but I guess let's see it so we can finally put it to rest if he can play or not. -

Good point. We also seem to only mention negative things that happen instead of discussion both positive and negative. And there are some that just won't give credit where it is due because they somehow thing they are smarter than a man who has been around major league baseball for 40 years playing and coaching. -

Great post! And as we give credit to RR, we must also praise Melvin because we seem to be finding "diamond in the rough" type guys, at least that's what the baseball geniuses tell us anyways. He may not be the style of baseball you like but whatever he is doing, he is doing it successfully. You are only as good as your players has some merit to it but managers and coaches to have a lot of input towards a team as well. -
Man. Some of you guys need to settle and enjoy the wins. Baseball can be played many ways and the Brewers have their own "style". They are 15-5 and it's along season. Enjoy it!

I loved Aoki but how in the heck is he worth how good Smith is now and he's still going to get better. (Hopefully) Awesome trade. Just awesome.

Herrera can't complain about being sent down unless he starts hitting the dang ball. Love the versatility but gotta take advantage of opportunities.

I don't think that Overbay is going anywhere, and neither is Weeks. They will continue to play with what they have, especially since they are winning games with the current roster they have.

Chase Headley doesn't really intrigue me even. Other than one really good season, he's just been meh...
