Ya have to have a little grit and attitude if you're going to be a successful team. We get bothered that the Cardinals have a swagger and do things their way, well hopefully we are starting to just say screw it and develop our own attitude and our own way we want to play the game. If Gomez wants to fight, he'll have 24 other players plus coaches behind him. RR doesn't have much fire usually so every once in awhile I don't mind seeing something from a player.

Then you have to use Maldonado for the pitcher's spot and we would have nobody left on the bench. So what? Go for the W. Either ARam puts us ahead and we let a pitcher hit or Maldonado gets a crack at it and we have to use Gallardo as a pinch hitter later. May never get that chance again.

Bianchi's one skill is decent defense at SS. If he could hit he'd be a starter some place. Saved a couple runs earlier in the game on an amazing play at 3B. He's servicable in a utility role.

Shoulda been ARam in for Scooter and it doesn't come down to Bianchi. Poor decision there.

Keep booing. Love it. Davis just doesn't look balanced in any swing. Same goes for Segura. They gotta take a breath and get back to what makes them good hitters.

A week? a Game or two tops. he got one game for the incident with McCann last year and that was worse than this Instigating a brawl and then throwing punches? It's going to be 5 games. It doesn't matter what Cole said, Gomez started the fight. Absolutely no way it's 5 games. Maybe Maldonado since he knocked a guy silly lol

Segura is becoming tough to watch. Figure it out please. Can't do that when runs are at a premium.

I wouldn't be too sure on this. We've seen the past two seasons that guys have to wait until the draft and then sign because teams won't give up that draft pick. On your other stuff. I'd flip Estrada after the break THIS YEAR and bring up Nelson or pitch Thornburg. That way you maximize whatever return you will get for an aging, steady pitcher. -
When will Miller Park be outdated?

If there were hotels basically next to Miller Park it would be worth the money to stay there and still tailgate as you would not have to worry about driving after the ballgame. What a perfect idea. The only thing I could see is that the hotels would be way over priced(for me) and I wouldn't stay there anyways. -
Would you just cut Rickie and pay him to sit home or play on another team? I just can't see Melvin doing that this early in the season. I'm not sure I'd be thrilled paying a guy $10+ mil to not play for our team. Maybe if they could work out a trade, eat some money but get something in return, fine. I just do not see that happening though.

I think it is really sad to watch Rickie lately. There just seems to be no life anymore from him. I know he has always been a calm, collected individual and of course when things are not going right its easy to see it more, but he just does not seem to smile or have any fun. He really needs some positive at bats going forward or this thing is really going to tailspin to where he really will be useless and I just do not want to see that. He's a Brewer to the core. Get hot Rickie!

Really sad to basically watch the end of Rickie Weeks with every at bat he is given. Scooter is not great but Weeks has fallen completely off. Sad.

We may have and we may have traded 1 year of Aoki for a left handed stud as well as rule 5 pick up Wang for another. Talk about some great moves by our front office so far and this isn't even mentioning the signing of Krod back as he's been lights out. All I hope is that Melvin & Co. have some Morales up his sleeve after June 6th or whatever it is.

What's the reasoning for having a game off from broadcasting? Is it to give Rock and BA a day off or is it due to some licensing thing that they are only allowed to broadcast so many games? If it's to give those guys a day off, wow do I want that job. They work half of the days of the year as it is and still get days off!

I see the offense is off and running again today. I know we don't have a ton of options but right now I just do not like having Gomez - Segura as our 1-2. How long until the fans turn on Segura like they did with Weeks? At least Weeks used to get on base and knock one outta the park here and there. I'd like to see Braun moved up into the 2 hole and let Aram be in the 3. Braun's power is down anyways and we possibly get him another at bat a game. Come on... beat those Cardinals!!

Could really depend on what Thornburg and Peralta do in their starts and in spring training. What if Peralta and Thorny pitch as well or better than Fiers/Rogers? Next year could be: Gallardo Fiers Rogers Thornburg Peralta Estrada(6th, Long relief) -
