    Per PFF: Preston Smith: 230 pass-rush snaps, 15 pressures, two sacks Rashan Gary: 171 pass-rush snaps, 22 pressures, three sacks Uhh... Play Gary more? Time to let the guy get after it.

    Also worth noting that the average NFL score is up to over 50 points a game. So if the Packers offense had done their jobs and at least put some drives together, or ST not fumbled inside the red zone, or lots of things yesterday, the defense more than likely does their job well enough to win that game.

    3 points in 2 quarters plus a drive in OT. I hope that's the focus after this one. Adam is right, playing for a tie was inexcusable. Deserved loss.

    I kind of wish the NFL would just put the ball at the 25 and be done with returns. They've become the most boring piece of the game and you end up wasting roster spots on duds.

    They could try running more than 6 plays in a quarter plus.

    One more TD by our offense and I feel this one is ours. Not a good first drive of the second half to get that accomplished.

    Could've had Ryan Ramczyk or Budda Baker too. Happens every draft. If Watt wasn't a Badger and JJ's brother, I doubt he'd be referenced as much. It's too bad King couldn't stay healthy because if he did, I doubt anyone would have complaints. He's a pretty good football player.

    Mertz was asked to throw the ball 42 times as he had no WR's and his only TE was hurt. He did not play well but he also missed 3 weeks of practice and played an excellent defense last night. I question the coaching staff and what the actual game plan was because whatever it was, it should be tossed in the garbage can. Our defense could have given this team a chance to win last night if injuries and a decent game plan was in place. It's too bad. Chryst is a great coach for Wisconsin but we always seem to pee down our legs at least once a season under his regime.

    I wonder if Hill will "start" and then Jameis jump in the game after the wildcat stuff has been run a bit. That's what I would've done. I would've announced Hill as my "starter" and then used Jameis as my actual QB.

    Do we have replacement refs out there? I normally don't say much about refs but this has been atrocious so far.

    I hope we have some WR's coming in because this kid can throw it. Open up that playbook and let him sling it around. The new era of Badger football begins with Mertz.

    If the announcement came before election day, you'd have yahoos saying it was a political help to Trump. But because it happened after, you have yahoos claiming conspiracy the other way. Stuff gets old. Fast.
