Kind of a pathetic situation for the Bucks, a team trying to keep one of, if not the best players in the game. I do wonder if this was LA or NY if the NBA would even be batting an eye at this situation.
If pitchers had any interest in being competent hitters, I'd be fine with keeping the DH out of the NL but it has become just too much of a joke watching the pitchers look like Henry Rowengartner.
I'm just not sold on this signing. With the way the Packers have been able to turn over their offensive line recently, this is a lot to spend on one position that isn't the quarterback.
Defense actually hasn’t been that bad. 7 of the 20 points came from a punt return. Another 7 came from a real short field on Adams fumble. Playing without your top two DB’s it hasn’t been too bad.
GB is where TE’s go to die. Sternberger and Tonyan are good TE’s and I just don’t think we either run the offense to find them or Rodgers doesn’t really care to toss it to anyone without the number 17.
Rivers is a good QB and has been throughout his career. When people say GB wasted Rodgers they should look no further than SD and the Rivers situation. Now that is a waste.
I like Lindblom. I'm excited to see him next year in a full season. Beyond that, anyone getting upset from this move right now needs to take a deep breath. Way too early to really know much of anything and basing it on a 60-game season is not a sound way to look at things. Urias could absolutely stink but I don't believe he will. We shall see.
