  1. Dallas getting some really terrible calls going against them in this one.
  2. Don’t turn it over and we should be alright in this one.
  3. Also weird that he refuses to wear shoes while golfing. Jim McMahon is weird... always was. I asked him for some shenanigans he remembered while playing with GB. He said he always was setting up Holmgren to walk in on Favre holding his junk. He said stories are true that Favre pranked a lot and Holmgren was a main target. Might explain why he ended up in Seattle... lol
  4. Good to know as I’m planning a European vacation (eventually) for the wife and I.
  5. Also weird that he refuses to wear shoes while golfing.
  6. I expect these types of things to happen also. My real concern is who these acquisitions will be. Just not a lot out there that scream “we are contenders”. The rostered guys we do have outside a few, are just meh. Heck, even the top end talent guys have question marks surrounding them. Hopefully, it all goes well for the Brewers moving forward but it just doesn’t have a good feel around the organization to me.
  7. Looks like a guy we should be targeting.
  8. Kopps was my college hang-out, so part of it is the memories. They are very much a greasy spoon-type burger and I think Culvers is actually better tasting. But I still won't pass one up when I'm in town. The other burger I was told was so great was Solly’s butter burger. I went and oh my. I’ve never not been able to finish a burger but that was this one. It was soaked in butter. Like dripping and made a pool on the plate. People can’t like that, can they?
  9. I think both of the leagues I’ve been in for a long time now have been week 17 championships.
  10. Other than the Padres, what team has been active?
  11. Well there goes my fantasy championship hopes.
  12. I've never understood the big deal with a Kopp's burger. To each their own but it just doesn't do it for me. Their custard is good though.
  13. While this could happen, I don't think it is a given. They could very well tear down everything around Yelich and not be competitive. Heck, we are close to that right now. If it weren't for the outlook of this division, we could be looking at a very poor upcoming season. And that could change at any given time a couple of the division foes make a move. We are not a good baseball team as currently constructed. Yelich and his contract have nothing to do with that right now but they may in future seasons.
  14. Any ball players from Greece? They seem to like it here.
  15. Snacks sounds like he’s in. He’s graded out well. Between adding Tavon Austin and Snacks, who needs a trade deadline!
  16. I almost don’t want him.
  17. Neither Feliciano or Turang are very impressive.
  18. He's being shopped by the Cubs. Could add a middle-of-the-order bat and I'm guessing not have to give up much in return as it looks like they want salary dump. Either way, partner him with Narvaez and you should have plenty of production from that position. He does have a little bit of experience in LF and 1B as well to make him a bit more well-rounded of an option.
  19. I can't tell if you are being serious, or trying to poke the bear, but it worked. I hate this idea, and it makes me mad to even think about. The Brewers aren't going to deal the guy they just signed to a "face of the franchise" type deal 9 months ago. That just isn't gonna happen. Not only does it make zero sense, it would be PR suicide for Stearns and Attanasio. I could see them dealing Hader to the Padres. I saw a lot of Cub fans saying they thought the Darvish deal would be for Gore and Cronenworth. I don't anticipate both those guys coming back for Hader, but I think one would need to be included. I like Yelich but am very afraid of what this team will look like going forward and what he will look like by the time we are competing again. If the Padres offer up the package you can’t refuse I would welcome the get out of jail free card and do a soft restart while we have some pitching.
  20. Package Hader and Yelich and go for the entire farm.
  21. Brewers didn’t sign Yelich to trade him after 1 bad season. Maybe not but sometimes you take advantage of a market. Go after that farm system and stock up for a better future. Use Hader too.
  22. Padres need/want Yelich?
  23. Is Nathaniel Hackett going to get some head coach interviews?
  24. Wouldn't shock me if MVS has had a good game of blocking.
  25. Trucking? How bout side stepping to the endzone and barely being touched. Guy has some feet!
