  1. Just looked but he's allowed at least 1 base runner in 9 of his last 11 outings. covering 3.2IP of outs. 11 baserunners in 11outs. He's been terrible, but not as terrible as Jeffress this series.
  2. Exactly. What a waste. I don't know what it is. I know Kratz is a great story and all, but Pina is just better from everything I've seen. Especially in the post-season, where he's had, what, a few starts? I don't get it either unless the pitchers are literally lining up to say that Kratz is the only one that can call a good game (and I don't think that's happening.) I thought in regards to Kratz was he caught Miley and Chacin. Starters to 5 of 7 of this series. But with that, why not ph Pina when you did Schoop? Was Kratz on base then?
  3. Exactly. What a waste. Smart money would probably be the double switch next PH used Pina for Kratz
  4. 82mph low on outside part of plate followed with 99MPH high heat. If it's that 82mph pitch it's falling in to the strikezone high. It's the same with Kneble when he can locate that breaking ball swing and misses a foot above the zone on FBs.
  5. Scoped! I will never understand how he's on the playoff roster. Has it been 1 month since his last hit?
  6. He was like #1 or 2prospect in baseball cpl seasons back with Seager. The sequence vs Braun just now shows he's got some great stuff. Yelich didnt have a chance seeing him the first time today.
  7. Dodger hitters I feel have only hit the ball up the middle of opposite field their last 5 or 6innings of hitting. Its quite a difference with that ability to all change the approach, but I feel that adjustment worked in their favor.
  8. Just remember Yelich is nearly every AB facing a LHP. Its Aguilar that needs needs to come through with maybe his 10th time with runner in scpring position? 0hits
  9. In this series, all the Dodgers pitchers seem to get a free ball that should have been a strike nearly every PA. Also Kershaws avg better than Schoop this season
  10. Wow, look what shortening up your swing, for contact can do. Dodgers have figured this out, Brewer hitters? However, pull, pull, whiffffsss. Aside from Arcia
  11. Its been 3games and for a total of 6outs have the Dodgers looked competitive. No fear from winning this series. We're the better team plain and simple. We're doing this right now from 3-9 in the order with our 2best at 1-2 to yet produce their big moments. 12hours away from seeing this team play again!
  12. My argument against using Hader was if the Dodgers were bringing the 4th run to the plate. Youre giving your other guys 3ob/runs scored towork with to mot use him. Someone put it was 95% likely the Brewers win starting the 8th inning. Hader should be used when the game is more even or behind to win. ...as I say that JJ has 0outs and runners at 2nd/3rd with Hader used.
  13. Which could backfire when tomorrow's game could be a 2-1 affair and game 5 a 21-6 blowout. Absolutely used Hader in the 2least games needed. darnit, its happening now. Hate this move
  14. If Kneble throws a 0 here, I'd give the ball to a RP lime Woodruff or Peralta to finish off the game and save Hader if they arent at risk of giving up 4ru s
  15. I would bet dollars to doughnuts Knebel is coming back out. I agree, I just don't think I'd do it. He doesn't pitch many multi-inning stints. It's different for a reliever. Hopefully it works out. Cc made a double switch bringing him in. Kneble pitching next inning is a guarantee.
  16. Did you see the movement on pitch 3? It looked like a strike until the last second. Pitchers get paid too. It sucks, but it was a great pitch. To hit a HR on? Swing for the fences? Sure it was a good pitch, but this guy is missing all over the place and you need to take advantage with patience.
  17. That is how you approach a struggling pitcher. Sit and take. Get the count in your favor, crush the have to strike pitch. Braun swung at both first pitches with men on and that pitcher struggling. Outs both times. Sick to stomach to have the RPs weve relied on all season crap themselves
