Solid #2? 3.97era and a 1.3+Whip is your Solid #2? Since 2008. If thats the case then the Brewers are more than set at Starting Pitching. All these Young Guns we have are a #3 at worst with Solid #2 to Low #1 potential! To me a #2 is a guy who's going to have under 3.5era with a whip under 1.25 and a 7+k/9 and avg. better than 6innings per start. 3.97 is average 3 for me. 1.3+Whip is below avg #3. Jackson does make the 7+k/9 and 6+inn per start qualifications. A #2 would also not have a career W/L record being .500 I said somewhere before he's a pitcher with #1/#2 stuff but his career ERA sits above 4. That equates to Avg or #3. The fact that he has #1/2 stuff and results to #3 stats is why I put him at a solid #4. That way you don't get destroyed emotionally with a #1/2 talent providing you with Average results.

Now this is the idea I've always had mind. Trade away Hart if Hamilton can/will play 1b for you. Before Aoki it was trade Hart and if Hamilton would take Hart's OF position. The whole Gomez/Aoki/Schafer trio is more than capable at a value to not warrant a better hitter of Hamilton at 20+mil/year. Ive stated from the start when people began with the trade deadline rumors of getting Hamilton that he just doesn't fit through 2013. After he may but why waste 20+mil this season on a player who doesn't fit your team? And then there's the whole if the club is more in the 80 to say 95Mil team payroll, how do you justify putting 20+ of it in to one seriously questionable player the likes of Hamilton?
-
Let's face it. If Haren took 13mil to be signed and Nolasco will cost 11.5 plus prospects? I think the Brewers would have been way way on top of signing Haren for 13mil to 13.5 if they want to take on 1 year of Nolasco while losing prospects. Frankly, if the Marlins are allowed to trade Nolasco now that Escobar is gone, MLB has a problem on their hands. You would be looking at a Marlins payroll of 20mil approximately for 2013. The Players Organization would have to make some sort of complaint that would have to be heard. A Baseball team who's had their stadium funded majority by tax money, receives 30+Mil yearly in revenue who in turn make repeated salary dumps below money they are being funded for paying to put a team on the field? I think Nolasco would just be the last straw unless the Marlins made some drastic FA signing(who'd be willing?) in order to bring their payroll back to 30mil and above. I am not a fan of Nolasco and the only reason he's getting 11.5mil for his lack of production is because he's obviously been in the Marlins plan all along to be traded. So they wouldn't have to worry about this final year in his contract.

Brewers Have Considered Trading Hart
brewcrewdue80 replied to torts's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
This has been ongoing for seasons now. If you read the Mlbtraderumors site and the comments come in from fans of Orioles, Yankees, Mariners as wanting him. The 1b aspect Hart gained last season definitely increased his value. It's something I would pursue if a nice deal was offered not just for 1year but added future. As for the Rangers and trading Olt. I can't see Rangers wanting Hart. They are losing Hamilton or signing him. If losing him then they are looking for an OF with young talent as Upton has. Hart doesn't have the OF,young talent on his side anymore. We all know he's not the greatest defensive OFer. But he showed plus Defense at 1b which is why I see the O's,Yankees wanting him as they can use him at both OF/1b. Now, trading Hart is partly to remove the money aspect of it. Yet there's Swisher out there on FA who I'd target if I were a team with any thoughts of trading for Hart. I can't imagine the price being any different and Swisher doesn't cost you any good prospects. So, I think when it comes to the money a team taking Hart's salary on can also take on the FA market who's available. Just don't know how a team trading for Hart wins in the trade unless they absolutely think he's the 1piece missing to win the WS this year. Which is what Angels pushed for with Grienke. I do think that the Brewers are better off trading away the final year for any players with multi-years of control/prospects being the market they are in. The Grienke Deal sure saved the team a huge hole at SS. Of course it made a hole at the rotation. Losing Hart wouldn't necessarily make a hole at 1b but it sure leaves a question mark on the production for 1b. I've wondered what the Brewers would get in return for Hart. Sure would give an idea to what value is in Gomez as I would rank both about equal. Could help decide what offer you make on resigning Gomez or what you ask for him in a trade. -
Well, I wouldn't mind having him back. He's shown 180+INN. the last 2 seasons and is a lefty starter. He does give up the HR though and that's a bit scary to take on. Right now, I'd wait on the FA market to dictate whether to pursue him. Though he could be gone by then. Don't know what Dodgers would want in return for him. I say look in the free agent market to avoid losing an OK prospect. I would think the asking price be a top15 prospect within the organization. Obviously not a top high ceiling prospect but it would be a solid prospect. Cappy is better than Wolf but I feel theres a 2012 Wolf season in Cappy's future. I'd rather not lose a solid prospect for that risk. To make the move it would lead me to believe you are locked in on picking up the option to have for 2years. To trade for him for just 1year and losing a solid prospect doesn't make sense. He's not the Impact pitcher worthy of losing the prospect on 1 year's worth of service for a #4 on a good year #5 on a expected year.

Hmmm, good/bad trade reads all over on this one. You look through Badenhop's last 4 years and its 60-70ip as reliever. no more than 6HRs given up on any season. The 3.03 is probably better than expected as his BBs were down. But in the big scheme of things. He would appear to provide the club with a 65-72ip reliever who is a 3.4-4.1era guy. The fact he's a groundballer pitcher with good Righty numbers leads me to see him as the 5/6/7th inn guy who may come in for the starter inheriting runners on base about to face a righty in an attempt to induce a double play ball and get the starter out of the jam. No injury problems, been around 5years now, cheap and added control, I just see the pickup as someone who won't be as bad as what the crew endured last season. Talk about Loe comparisons but Loe has had awful years mixed with good. He'd served double digit HRs, had poor bb rates and then was something special. I take this as a B grade RP who probably remains B grade throughout. Brewers Pen last year had no one that was just consistent. That's what I look at with Badenhop is he's just been realiable. Had a better year last year and who knows? Maybe the better year (being due to control/less BBs) is what can be expected as a 30yr old who figured it out. Now in regards to trading away Jr. ...... He's 20 now had a little improvement but not much. Mondesi may catch on at some point but you feel like it was going to be years for it to happen. .241 BA at low A/Rk ball? MLB players who are All-Stars Rake at every level immediately from numbers I've seen. He's had 3 years now and nothing shows raking at all. For someone being the maybe 20/20 potential if ever clicking? His SB numbers are awful. Dykstra at least shown speed throughout and put in a decent year. Guess what I'm getting to is, in all likelihood Brewers have a RP at least for a player likely to never make it. I'll take that trade any day.

I'm going to guess this was in response to my post of signing Hamilton by shipping Ramirez. I'm not a fan of Hamilton on the Brewers under circumstances of whos on team, what team needs, fitting Hamilton somewhere with the payroll obligations. I suggested that for me the only plausible way I can think of is for the team to ship either a Weeks,Hart,Ramirez/ and or Gomez even. There's a lot of payroll tied in to those first three for this season, add Braun, and Gallardo and there's just no room to put a 20- 20+Mil contract. It's different by losing an 11-13mil/yr contract with a cheap option to replace that contract but between all of them. the only place remotely looking to be filled to me is 3b. There's no 2b currently and going in to the season with Gamel for 1b doesn't seem like a better option than Green at 3b. I've found it funny that media consistently link Hamilton to the Brewers. He doesn't belong in Milwaukee with being a Small Market organization. I don't understand how they keep dreaming he does. It's one thing if Hamilton is a 1-2 option of signing but 3? 4? 5?!years How does Milwaukee afford that? Now, Hamilton signs a 1year deal this year somewhere else. Come ask this question with Gomez/Hart/Rami contracts all potentially gone. At least then linking Hamilton would actually seem slightly feasible.
-
Your answer via FA of what's out there is? And list the price you pay to them. Then when they're signed above that you won't have to believe Melvin and M.A. didn't try to improve FA rather were outbid/smart with their money by not overpaying on a payroll that has its limits.
-
Would seem to confer my feelings on him. I just look at the AL Central in recent years and think if you can't consistently perform against these lineups how can you be trusted in a stacked hitters division? Add to it the ballpark factor. Yea not interested in Liriano. Goes with my earlier post. This FA pitchers class I don't see exceeding value in their contract and some being a disaster for the contract they sign, Liriano is one of them that gives me that feeling. It's getting a bit wild in all the random trade discussions for pitching. Royals offering up Myers to get a starter? Something big will happen during the next winter meeting via trade. So in the meanwhile I don't see any of these FA pitchers being signed aside from Grienke before then. The likes of Lester,Shields,Atlanta's arms, are shaking up the field. The prices when it all said and done could drop in the Brewers favor.

Time to trade Gallardo?
brewcrewdue80 replied to HiAndTight's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
I'm new here. Trade Gallardo? Really? So hey let's make it a point to not win as an organization! Trade for prospects, trade for prospects, Gallardo is the "Real Deal" I'd extend his contract another 5years if he'd take 14mil per today. He is a near pitchers equivalent to Braun. Brewers were fortunate to lock Braun up. I just don't get this way of thinking? I fully expect Gallardo to live out his Brewers contract. And upon a QO if he doesn't take it Brewers get a draft pick. Only a trade deadline deal like Grienke's the year Gallardo may become a FA can trading Gallardo be discussed honestly. The Brewers have a fan base, this isn't like Tampa Bay where trading away a pitcher under control for multiple years for prospects to save a few million makes sense. To be honest, I was more comfortable watching Gallardo on the mound vs Grienke. To trade him away? Just seems wrong. He's young, proven 3 more years at minimum for him I think is a whole lot better than taking on a prospect and hoping he's worth losing Gallardos service for 5/6years of said prospect. I get Weeks, Aram, Hart, Gomez trade thoughts they all offer you something you don't like as a fan. Gallardo? He's everything you can ask in a pitcher. The only problem is the pitch count aspect. But you know what? A lot of that is because he is that Damn good a pitcher! Look at Strasburg, he too won't pass the 6inning often, batter's just stand there holding their bat simply because they can't feel the timing to their pitches/locate it. You can look all through the pitchers in Brewers organization to trade away, Gallardo is untouchable! Man, wow did the fans suggesting this have no faith in what the Brewers have currently. -
I myself wondered the need for a RB bench bat. My guess was there's plenty of RH bench batting to pass around on given days off for the starters. The Rule 5 draft is forthcoming so let's see what Brewers grab from that.
-
Yeah I've thought of Liriano/McCarthy too probably every exec in Baseball have that same notion. One though will probably cross the line and guarantee a hefty salary contract for 3yrs. Just hard to figure out what price lands FA pitchers. Guthrie got 3/25mil from KC! I thought I read originally Scott Baker got a potential 9mil/year deal from Cubs. So in general between those two and 15mil by Kuroda/asking price by Sanchez All these FA must be asking minimum 10mil up to 15. The only deals with current makeup on Brewers are a 1yr deal. For a lot of these players its a risk to take 1yr their value is likely to only decrease barring some near cy young vote getting type of season. Anything less than vote getting is remaining the same. But then there's the ut oh season and it drops. Guys want to lock away longer than year contracts and that's honestly tough for me to see the Brewers doing when there's arms ready to throw for you if not this year, next and beyond. McCarthy was Oak #1 starter this year, then B.Anderson emerged and young guys played well. I don't see McCarthy coming cheaply. When on the mound he's performed then gotten injured, returned performed some more. Guys like him make you wonder if he got a full year in and stayed healthy wouldn't the following year likely be better? McCarthy to me is that potential Gio Gonzalez signing. Gio's success though is going to be built in to McCarthy's price its just the wackiness of Agents selling I can feel it. I just don't know on Liriano. What the market is for him, how you price him. What to do if he fails. Is his price to high should he fail to not drop him, keep putting out there Damn the results I paid such and such for him this offseason! It's a tough market to piece. The Yankees aren't spending like usual because of 2014luxury tax goal. A few of these pitchers came from the teams in the market for pitching so that's a mixed signal. They're not good enough for you why should they be good enough for me? I stated I'm comfortable with standing pat. If a pitcher takes a 1yr deal on your offer great. If not, it shouldn't be deemed the end of the Brewers this year.

I think Dempster is on the wrong side in age and the years in a contract he may be asking for is too big a risk. Haren has the back problem. I have a back problem. It's feels fine most of the time but out of nowhere it will be crippling. DL list aside, he was very ineffective last year likely because of the back problem. I just wouldn't want to take that on. Jackson. If he asked for #4 SP price as his results have clearly been then OMG yes! Problem is he's heard nothing but that he has borderline #1 stuff or high #2 stuff. With #4 results. His asking price will be on that #2 stuff he has. Not the results his supposed stuff has gotten his teams. Which is sad, talent can get you paid, Damn the returns! Hamilton. I keep hearing there's plenty of games to go around within the Brewers lineup for him. At least 120starts. But I find that hard to believe. Is it 50/70 for Gomez/Aoki? 70/50 Gomez/Aoki? I mean that's how I figure 120games comes to removing one of those two for 70games the other for 50. Then it back to price. 15mil? Yeah but his asking will be 22-26mil realistically. That's way too much to fit on a team with 85-100mil team payroll. Do you settle at 18mil? Maybe. But I'd probably dump some salary somewhere. Weeks,Ramirez,Hart,Gomez in that order is where it would come from. Now question is who takes them on and what do we get in return? My wishlist. Is that the Brewers stand pat. And work a trade, Ramirez, for some Pitching or 1b/cf prospect. Let Green/Gamel figure out who belongs on the team playing 3B. See the young pitchers work their way in the rotation or in to bullpen. Then address the team around trade deadline through to next FA. With a lot more answers than questions throughout the organization. Morris? Future 1b? Peralta,Jungmann,Bradley,Hellweg,Pena,Fiers,Narveson roles? How bout Gennet? Is he the 2b for Weeks? These questions/answers go in to signing Hart/Gomez beyond 2013. Where Gamel/Green fit or to be shipped. Schafer's OF production? The team has plenty of youngsters plugging a veteran for more than a year just delays the time these youngsters can show what they have for the team. You sign a Hamilton,Jackson for 3-5years you can probably expect to see Schafer pushed out with never seeing him get a starting opportunity. Same with pitching, expect a Fiers,Peralta,Rogers one of them being shipped since they wouldnt have room to keep them and develope them.
-
Makes sense. Jeff Suppan career year to Brewers from Stl so yeah Lohse career year to Brewers in his thinking. My thinking. When Spring Training starts Lohse will be calling Stl asking them to sign him at 10mil. Any team willing to give up their highest draft pick for what Lohse has to offer as a pitcher would be nuts! Add to it your losing a pick, giving one to Stl and taking on serious payroll. I can't even fathom 6mil/yr for 3yrs with that cost in mind by a division rival. The only team I can figure on taking Lohse Damn the draft pick are the Dodgers. Lohse 12years as a starter he has Opp BA Still! Above .300! Career k/9 5.5ish and he's what 34?35? It should honestly only be getting worse with Lohse.
-
Marcum #2? If Marcum resembled anything close to a #3 the Brewers would have given a QO to him. Grienke is a 1. All the rest don't hit 2. Kuroda is gone. This years class is rated down because its of 3s who are closer to 4s and in Haren,Jackson,Dempster had #2 abilities but in career never Consistently maintained them. Lohse had a career year. He doesn't grade as a high 4 to me that's how immense his career year was! Liriano is the same as above only it was #3 pitching to #4 and close to #5. McCarthy is an injury unknown. His head? Yeah will he be the same on the mound after what happened? This class of Pitching FA are really a bunch of pitchers who didn't live to expectations. Sanchez the in for a big payday pitcher basically because he's lived up to his as a 3. And I argue this because saying that when Liriano is on is a #1 or #2 can be said about just anybody. Fiers isn't even supposed to be a ML SP by scouts accounts yet his 1month+ of "being on" this season was #1 stuff stat wise. That's the promise this free agent class has is some occasional #1 stat stuff. But realistically you see #3 stat stuff from them while they ask for #2 stuff pay.

Haven't gone through all the posts in this thread. Just a quick my thinking on 2013FA pitchers. I hate this year's offering of FA pitchers. I mean sure there's a few that seem ok. The problem is cost. I think at best with any of these FA pitchers you're looking only to get equal value in production at best and likely less than value on the contract signed. Some are going to flat out be disgustingly bad. Annibel Sanchez asking 6yrs/90mil? This is a pitcher that in Fantasy Baseball in last 3years I could consistently find him on Waiver wire for Spot Starts. If that's not a clue at his talent/worth I dunno what is. Now Sanchez seems to be #2 after Grienke in the market and he's asking 15MM! To me this puts Jackson,Haren,Dempster on that pay range. I just don't trust these pitchers for that price. So my FA suggested strategy be not to sign any of them! Ignore the urgency to sign a "#2" Go in to 2013 with the arms we have. Figure out the rotation where they all fit. When the trade deadline approaches you know by then what this young staff is offering you on the team. Fill in the cracks if possible/needed then. Save the teams payroll now and potentially for 3-4years by not signing these soon to be overpaid, major team risks. Let your rivals make the mistake tying up to much payroll in to a player who can't possibly equal its contract value.

Ok. I tabbed Dickey 2seasons ago on my fantasy team than when I drafted him in like the 13th rd this year I said he would be top20pitcher in MLB. He did me better. Anyway, Dickey is a better knuckleballer than anyone has probably seen. He's stated he's able to control where the knuckle ball moves. Down to up. Up to down. Changes up the speed. He also has a FB thrown harder than a knuckleballer throws. That's the intriguing part on him. With the harder FB, is his shoulder subject to higher strain? So while Knuckleballers have a history pitching in to mid 40s can Dickey? Anything prior to last three years ignore on Dickeys pitching history. He wasn't a Knuckleballer. He dabbled with that pitch but he tried making it in the bigs with regular stuff, and was shelled. None of that is his pitching today. So, Dickey imo not only can duplicate his season this year, I believe he can pitch at a very high level at least another 5years. Think about it, how many knuckleball abs are there by MLeaguers these days? What he throws is something the majority of batter's facing him have zero experience to what 10-25PA? He's going to remain successful so long as he controls the pitch. And he's said he's only improved. That being said. First. Mets aren't taking on Prospect Pitching. Not at least until they've unloaded the amount they have to where they have to replenish. So it leaves the Catcher/OF as pieces Mets want. Mets aren't in the big spending market, if they were both Dickey and Wright would be signed. This means Hart isn't an option. Gomez? Doubt it. Schafer then. I'd wager Aoki with 2yrs friendly contract has more value.(Hate to see him go) Catcher. Lucroy has a friendly ML contract, a proven bat, I can't see how Brewers unload him. Maldanado. Great defense catcher. Arby years ahead of him. Mets to have all those young pitchers and a great defensive catcher for them has to be valuable to Mets. I think Aoki,Maldanado would get the deal done. 5mil for Dickey a need to replace Aoki(Hamilton) rumors sorta fits. Not a fan, I get it. In the talks I'd be working a suggested contract extension by the Mets to Dickey to give Brewers a longer than 1yr service. Mets like I said can't give the money but Brewers maybe can. (who knows what Mets have been offering Dickey) 10-12/yr? Maybe they're going 8-10? Any way. Dickey certainly can be expected for 200ip. Not to mention he can pitch CGs. This young staff may have a spell of 4ip starts and a Dickey CG would give the bullpen a needed break. Even on the 1yr aspect of Dickey you gotta ask with Brewers makeup wouldn't winning now be prudent? Dickey,Gallardo is nice for Playoffs. So in arguing losing Maldanado,Schafer no way! Hey what if no way meant WS? Is that not the big goal you set out to do? Brewers have the position starters in place losing 2bench players can be afforded(obviously risk if starters injured). What they lack is the ace. Grienke will cost 20+mil. That's your only other ace on market. 5mil and 2bench players for Cy Young ace Dickey. Can you argue against that? Yea Grienke was on this team and we didn't make playoffs. That's all on no SS. No 1b, Aoki being discovered, Lucroy being injured. Wolf, bullpen. Things that majority are solved. Dickey like I said his CG outings that's like 1/2 an arm in the bullpen alone through a season! He is worth a lot to look at for Brewers in 2013. His Cy Young isn't a fluke rather an ongoing improvement in skill shown the past 3years. That skill isn't leaving him in 2013 if anytime soon. With the offense set I'm on board obtaining Dickey for 1season. It's a small window to win with this offense 2013? Only? Would just happen to coincide with Dickeys contract.

Would you rather have Jean Segura or Mike Olt?
brewcrewdue80 replied to splitterpfj's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
I was upset Brewers didn't get Olt and Perez. Obviously they likely weren't in a deal together. But if they could be I'd have taken it. Now Segura for Olt. Tough one. I'd take Olt being a solid 3b bat for Brewers for years. That's a big plus to me. Now in the makeshift of Brewers Segura is the Only Option at SS. Olt wouldn't be at 3B. So how could Brewers make this deal? Just a lot to figure out to make this work...Moving Ramirez, finding another SS. FA? Trade? So end all its Segura over Olt. If the team make up is different no Ramirez and some SS then Olt but it is what it is. The positive to me in Segura is his bat and SB potential fit a lineup fine. He's not a SS being put in the 3,4,5 spots. He fits 2,7,8(I'm hoping 2) Something I think has been getting lost in baseball is the Power hitting players overlooking the slap/gap hitting OB/SB guys. I don't get why 20hrs by CF,2b,SS is more expected at .300-.320OB with 170ks or more in a season over guys who SBs get on .325-350 with under 150ks.? I mean what does it matter on your 3,4,5hitters HRs if no one is on base ahead via a HR hit ahead of them, or the fact they struck out? -
And with Gomez. For all that its said on Upton I think Gomez is better defender, better base stealer. He batted a better avg. Only trailed HRs. So to me I have the belief Gomez has all the rights to ask what Upton is asking. The truth and problem is Upton doesn't have the right to ask for what he's asking. I see Upton as a Plague to the team that signs him. There's a reason Tampa has been No-hit/ had perfect games thrown against them in recent years. Upton. He has the "tools" to bat leadoff/2nd meaning top of your order. Problem is he doesn't have a good OB, BABIP, and a higher k% than what I would want at top of my order. But he's that 30/30 legitimate threat so you stick him up there. If Upton actually batted .280 and one what an OB% above .330 was I would be all for the money he's asking. But to stick someone at the top of your order for Less than .300OB! is ********! Not to mention if he does hit 30HRs meaning what 18% of all hits he's not on base ahead of your cleanup hitters. So your then looking at a guy who's likely on base 25% of the time for your 3/4batters if that. I just don't get the love for him. Now back to Gomez. He's everything but the power Upton has. And its equal on hits let's just say so Gomez has edge on doubles/triples. There can't be but 5-8 extra runs in value by Upton over Gomez on a season. Now should Gomez bat .240 have 10-13hrs and only 20sbs 2013 he's worth less than Upton. And also not worth a top of the order spot as Brewers have used him. This gets me on to bringing Hamilton on. You know where to stick him in lineup and he will produce what you expect. Gomez to me vs Aoki,Segura,Lucroy belongs at #7 in lineup. With 20/40 potential that's not going to make him happy in contract year. So my idea above. If Brewers could find a trade suitor for Ramirez and Gomez I'd bring on Hamilton 4 years. You have Schafer, Aoki to back him up, Hart to move back to RF Gamel/Lucroy to play 1b. But w/o some salary dump on Brewers part I have no argument to bring Hamilton on right now.
-
My thoughts on Hamilton. A contract would have to be shipped. My guess is Ramirez. And Gomez? I recall Dodgers in the trade rumor on Ramirez. Do they still have a need at 3b? For Brewers having Hart at 1st the idea to lose Ramirez opens 3B to Green and Gamel. The 2years of salary loss for Ramirez may make it enough to sign Hamilton. That to me is about the only realm of reality to signing Hamilton is to move Ramirez. I realize you lose Ramirez's bat but he's now plugging up Green and Gamel seeing as Hart at 1b. And Brewers have discussed extension could mean Hart is staying 1b for awhile. It seems to me nobody wants more than 3years of Hamilton's expected contract with injury risk/ aging. 4years for 88mil by Brewers w/o Ramirez?
-
First post so go easy on me fellas. Stanton to me will be staying in Miami. He's done enough to me to not lose the value in getting as above mentioned...3 premium prospects. Now do the deal now? No way. He's as cheap as you can get and to me Loria will hold on to Stanton til he's in the 9+mil range. Maybe even 11. Yea he's upset so what. You have a premier bat. Let's recall 37Hrs and I think he had 0 his 1st Month! Loria will get those 3 premium prospects 3/4 years from now. My guess is should the trades work in his favor in 3years he's got something. Spend on yr 4 take your shot and year 5 will be dumping time once again. Now I read Loria brought up Nolasco and Morrison to the Brewers. One Nolasco isn't worth his contract nor does he fit this team so I hope he was laughed at and said good luck with that! Morrison. Where do you play him? Hasn't proved much either and could be one of those players that never gets it at the ML level. So why take him on? And we should all know Morrison is the I don't want him piece but maybe you will take Nolasco along with him. Forget. That's like reading Brewer fans suggest Gamel in trades.
