I still believe in Yelich... We build our offense around Yelich, Adames and Urias now.

Heyman said we made an offer for Story. Curious who was in the deal.

Braves I dont get... Joc in CF and then platooning Rosario/Duvall in LF, Soler in RF... They know the DH isnt in the NL right? Either way that's one big bat not playing each day.
  4. DR28
That appears to have been a false report. Thank god!
  5. DR28
Rumor has it... Bart part of the deal to Cubs.
  6. DR28
    Haha right!

There's still about 15 minutes left. I can't see them hanging onto him. He was the one guy I thought for sure would be on the move. Right but they still need another team to pay the price they want for him. Maybe just lock him up and build around him? NEVERMIND - Bryant gone

Right, Daniel Norris can't be it for today?????????? I mean, I wouldn't think so but they have made quite a few moves this year, just not in the last few days. Oh right I know... I thought for sure we would have added at least a couple pitchers today. Must feel good about Topa coming back.

Keeping Bryant is looks like, doesnt make sense but ok.

Pete Crow-Armstrong one of the players going back to Cubs.

Bet its Pineda to Padres.... Or even Maeda.

My god, this deadline has been amazing...... Actually, this whole week has been. Really hoping we add Kennedy tho. Williams/Kennedy/Hader along with Boxberger/Strickland/Cousins..... OMG I like that! WHELP - Nevermind
  14. DR28
    Where did you see that?

Seems like an odd way to look at it. I’m glad Tellez is locked in, and I’m hopeful that he’s performing at the level he had been prior to his slow start to 2021. Dont get me wrong, I love the Tellez trade... Just didnt think the Yankees were gonna get Rizzo, making Voit available... Just wishful thinking but I'll definitely take Rowdy as our 1B for the next how many years.
  16. DR28
Luke Voit would look great at 1B.... Too bad Tellez is locked in right now.

Todd Johnson said Binelas will be given every chance to play 3B when he's in our system.

Recency bias. It's rampant in every post-draft poll. Their 2nd round pick from last year is in the top-10 but the 2nd round picks from 3-4 years ago are nowhere to be found. Same with their 5th round picks. I really like what the Indians did with their first 3 picks, Gavin Williams, Doug Nikhazy and Tommy Mace... 3 dudes that know how to pitch.

Would have really liked MacLeod from A&M.
  20. DR28
I want one of Bednar, Hoglund or Ford.
  21. DR28
Would love to see Warren as a 3B.
  22. DR28
Really didn't see this kind of power coming from him... Think we may have found our 3rd of the future! Tellez - 1B Wong - 2B (Eventually Turang) Adames - SS Urias - 3B Really like the look of that infield for the next 2-5 years!
  23. DR28
Really liking our infield for at least the next couple seasons. Tellez - 1B Wong - 2B Adames - SS Urias - 3B Solid hitters and some great D.
  24. DR28
I want Bednar, Hogland or Williams from ECU.
  25. DR28
I agree! Then Colsen Montgomery with pick 33! Would be amazing start to the 2021 draft!
