I would love to add Archie Bradley to fill the Boxberger/Strickland vet role from last year. Hader Williams Bradley Suter Cousins Ashby Mejia Gustave I really like the look of that!
-
Good! I really liked the addition of Mejia.

When Does The Lockout End? Answer: March 10th, 2022
DR28 replied to jjgott's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Sides are talking starting on Thursday. -
https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/01/brewers-enviable-rotation-depth-could-open-trade-possibilities-for-front-office.html Thoughts??
-
I'm really liking our OF now Yelich-Cain-Renfroe with Taylor and Dahl as backups!
-
You sure he is still in our system? I thought his minor deal was just for rest of 2021 season.
-
Not a chance, someone is gonna pay him to play SS or 3B.
-
Wow, MLB means business… They’ve taken news about current players off the sites and player portraits on roster page are blank. Jesus, little much.
-
The big thing we should add is: - Full seasons from Adamas, Wong, Tellez, Cain. - Rebound from Yelich. Agreed! I’ll take 75% of MVP Yelich, he and Brewers need to figure out what is wrong with him. Give me .280-.290, 30 HR, 90-100 RBI Yelich and we’ll be fine.
-
His line against RHP last season was better than Yelich's overall line and similar to Tyrone Taylor's overall line. I imagine he will be getting the bulk of the OF starts with Yelich and Cain. Wong Adames Yelich Renfroe Tellez Urias Narvaez Cain I dont hate that lineup.
-
So is Renfroe our everyday RF? Or do we find a LH OF to platoon him with?
-
They desperately need a top of the order bat. Whether that comes today or when the season resumes after the lockout. I would prefer to have added a bat before the lockout but think it’s unlikely with the prices floating around. Bryant is still the dream acquisition. Covers third, and can play outfield and DH when off day needed. Yea, keep dreaming... That isnt happening.
-
Don't see this anywhere besides parody accounts. Plenty of "names" on Twitter said decision was coming before lockout.
-
Sounds like KB decision is coming today.
-
KB decision coming today, 100% positive he's not coming here (I know some on here had hopes), was never gonna happen.
-
I totally forgot Pham was a FA, I would love to see him as our everyday RF.
-
Damn, would have loved Canha on that deal!
-
Yep, would love this move! Would be our everyday RF, then 1B vs LHP. I'd rather see Stearns take the $7-8M he'd spend on Canha and put it towards a bigger bat OF. With a much, much cheaper Taylor as an equally good option in RF and Brosseau to play 1B against lefties, the money could be put to better use. Who else besides Conforto or Castellanos tho? I would take Conforto, would really love Nick but his D is terrible. Can you imagine the top of the lineup?? Wong, Adames, Yelich, Castellanos, Tellez, Urias, Narvaez. Really like that! But highly doubt Nick is a Brewer.

Brewers acquire JC Mejia from Cleveland
DR28 replied to markedman5's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Stearns said Mejia was brought in as a bullpen guy. He was very good out of the Indians bullpen last year… See him as one of our 7th inning guys along with Cousins and Ashby. Really liking this start to our winter! -

Totally agree! Build rotation around Burnes and Peralta.
-
If it comes down to Woody or Corbin
DR28 replied to brewmann04's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Man with Berrios extension earlier today, Burnes and Woody are gonna be super expensive. I would rather trade Woody, lock up Burnes... Build rotation around him and Freddy. Burnes Peralta Ashby Small Is a great start to a rotation. -
I'm coming around on Canha in RF. Dude has power and real good at getting on base.
-
Robert Murray @ByRobertMurray · 4m The Brewers have acquired infielder Mike Brosseau from the Rays for right-hander Evan Reifert.
-
I would love to add Conforto, nice big bat to go along with Yelich, Adames, Urias, Wong.
