No idea he hit 27 bombs last year... I like that... But I would rather have him in CF and sign someone like Schwarber or Soler to be our DH.
-
This one doesnt make any sense to me... We're signing Cutch to be our DH? Or maybe he's replacing Cain in CF and Cain is being moved to team looking for a CF? Still, we need a bigger bat than him.
-
McCutchen???? Uhhh this is not the big bat that we need. Unless he's replacing Cain in CF.
-
Damn, we're gonna miss out on Soler as well... Dodgers are aggressively pursuing now that Cruz is off the market. Conforto or Schwarber please????
-
Those tickets went super fast yesterday, I tried with no luck. Settled for section 129, 6 rows from the field! Cant wait!
-
OMG yes!! I would rather have him over Cruz!
-
I hope we add Cruz…. Wong Adames Yelich Cruz Tellez Renfroe Narvaez Urias Cain My god, thats a deep lineup!!
-
It almost had me until I saw the dodgers are interested. Sigh. They’re more focused on Freeman.
-
Nellie signing soon, we’re one of the interested teams.
-
Schwarber to 4 yr deal with Brewers, cant wait to see that headline soon!!!! Haha
-
Pham is open to playing1B.
-
I really like how our future OF is shaping up... Wiemer with that huge power in RF, Frelick speedster, slick fielder in CF and another speedster, slick fielder in LF with Mitchell (if he develops that power, watch out!). And not to mention, Hedbert and Gray Jr as well.
-
Oh hell yes, sign me up! Would love his power bat in the lineup! Wong Adames Yelich Renfroe Rosario Tellez Urias Narvaez Cain Uhhh yep!!
-
So we will have DH in NL starting this year... Bring Nellie back home!! I would love Soler or Schwarber but neither of those are happening.

When Does The Lockout End? Answer: March 10th, 2022
DR28 replied to jjgott's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Maybe we're getting somewhere... Universal DH and draft pick compensation elimination has been agreed to. -
I am hoping against all hope that Keston figures things out again, and he is a force! Imagine the boost he would provide to our line-up if he can come back to 2019 levels... Man I would love that!! I would gladly take 2019 Keston as our DH!
-
Bell for Keston... Boom, done.
-
I wouldnt mind trading for Josh Bell... Bell and Tellez can switch off at 1B and DH... Can't imagine it would cost too much to acquire him.
-
Still holding out hope for Schwarber at DH… Sure it doesnt happen tho.
-
Archie Bradley is another bullpen arm I wouldnt mind adding... I think Bradley, Williams, Hader would be a very nice end game trio! $6 mil last year, we should be able to afford that.
-
I would love to add Conforto but pretty sure he's gonna want more than the $18.4 mil QO he declined... Hope Im wrong as I would really love to add him or Soler as our DH.
-
I wouldnt mind Zim at all! Bench bat and starter at 1B vs LHP.
-
Says who??? I heard we were interested but never saw we were close to acquiring him.
-
Yea you're right... Dahl would be better served as 5th OF/Bench bat for us. Then they need to sign someone like Soler or Conforto as our DH... Or even Eddie Rosario since we were interested in him last offseason. I love the thought of the 20+ HR hitters we have now... Adames, Yelich, Renfroe, Tellez, Urias and whoever we sign to DH.
-
I like David Dahl as our DH in 2022... He hit really well in AAA last year... .327/.375/.536 with a .911 OPS sure it was only 31 games but I would love to take a flier on him to see if he returns to hitter he was in 2019. Wong Adames Yelich Renfroe Tellez Urias Dahl Narvaez Cain I really don't mind that lineup!
