    It seems Manny has done a good for the most part of getting ahead tonight and getting 2 outs but has problems putting them away. If he cures that he will be fine.

    What a nightmare game. Willingham is on my fantasy team and of course I had him on my bench. Suppan made me more mad last night then I think any player this entire season. I literally felt like I was steaming looking at his face as he sat in the dugout looking onto the field in a daze. Thanks Jeff, you suck.

    Wow, back to back games with HR's by Hart. Has that happened this year any other time? I doubt it. If he could ever get going that would be huge.

    In the words of Al, Oof. Villanueva gives us the best chance to win? That is a joke right? If he gives us the best chance to win we are royally screwed. I really wanted to see Dillard get at least one shot at it, not the guy with the ERA over 6 who has stunk up the joint lately.

    If they don't take at least 3 in this series we are in some trouble. Need a win in game one to start it off right, would hate to have to win 3 in a row. Suppan, step your game up. Same for you bats.

    Okay, yeah I seen those Razor cards on ebay. They do not look very good. So a real Lawrie rookie won't come out until he steps on a big league field?

    If Hardy is the SS moved I am all for this. If it is Escobar, I will be outraged. Like really, really mad. It would ruin my day.

    Anyone know why none of the draft picks from the 2008 draft have Bowman cards yet? I was looking up Brett Lawrie, Brett Wallace, Tim Beckham and Pedro Alvarez on ebay and none of them have a Bowman card yet. Anyone have any info on when they will have rookie cards?

    Hopefully Dillard does indeed start Tuesday, I read on Adam McCalvy's blog that Macha mentioned (gasp) Villanueva as a possible candidate. That would really be bad. I would much rather give Dillard a chance. And then hopefully we have a new pitcher from a trade by the next time that spot comes around in the rotation.

    Witrado may be the worst baseball reporter in history. Just awful, doesn't seem to care one bit about the great job he has. How did he get that job to begin with?

    I would not include Escobar in deal for Washburn. I would include Hardy though, perhaps like said above that Jack Z is a big JJ fan.

    Count me in on this. I have been as down on Parra as anyone, but he has shown a lot of the last two starts and I would hate to give up on a young cheap pitcher who we have under control for awhile yet just as he might find his groove along with any combination of Lawrie/Gamel/Escobar. I also don't think we are quite a WS contender so lets try to make the playoffs with what we have and see what happens.

    I think Melvin is a fine GM. Sure he has made some bad moves/signings. but he has also made good ones. It all kind of evens out. You have some hits and you have some misses.

    I see Hardy and Hart both traded. Escobar in at SS and Gamel at 3B or moved to LF if they go with McGehee at 3B thus moving Braun to RF.

    I'm really hoping with Lugo DFA and Buchholz getting that start in Toronto to show him off means they are going to make a move for a SS. I just hope its with the Brewers for Hardy.

    I just got home from out of town all weekend check my email and I got an alert from brewers.com about the move, I was pleasantly surprised. Lopez should be a nice leadoff hitter and plays a good 2B. Now McGehee should get almost all the starts at 3B and Counsell can come off the bench. I also like the corresponding move of Gamel going down to get everyday PT. Thank you Doug Melvin.
