    I didn't have a problem throwing Manny back out for the 9th, but after one base runner I would have pulled him. Macha let him go until he had two on. But yeah, a great performance by Manny. Just awesome.

    Hall in RF could be interesting. I would feel more comfortable defense wise with Braun in RF and Hall in LF.

    I agree with Al, those four will almost for sure be in the rotation in 2010. Just gotta get a #2 type guy for Hardy and or Hart.

    It's frustrating, Braun was really starting to heat up and then the last game of the Nats series and now in this series he only has 1 hit to show.

    Player IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Rogers, M 3.1 2 1 1 3 6 1 2.12 Rogers line for today. Left down 0-1. I'm assuming got to his pitch count and they pulled him. The 6 K's look great, the 3 BB not so much. Only gave up the solo HR. I wonder at any point this season if they will let him go 5 or 6 innings? Also if he is an AFL candidate.

    Same here, I'm just gonna watch because I love the Brewers and I love baseball. I know they are not going to playoffs this season so I will just enjoy the fact that baseball is still around for 2 months and not get mad about it. Whatever happens, well it happens I still get to watch baseball.

    I thought Dillard would have done a better job, but he was bad for the most part in a small sample. Vargas should be an upgrade, but I'm not sure that is saying a lot.

    Would be nice if Jones, Butler and Rogers all continue to progress to possibly see them at some point in 2010 or no later then 2011.

    I would have liked to see Clay Buchholz come to Milwaukee if they were involved with Boston and Cleveland. That would have made me pretty happy.

    After seeing Dillard last night, he might not deserve a start but it can't hurt to throw Chase Wright out there and give him a chance or Cody.

    I went to bad after Dillard gave up the lead. That was all the punishment I could take for one night. This pitching staff could almost rival the 2002 group. (Save for Gallardo, Hoffman and Coffey)

    I would much rather see Dillard or Chase Wright get a chance. I have seen just about enough of Burns. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

    The Bucks offseason has be somewhat excited for their season for the first time in years. That says a lot.

    I'm fine with keeping our guys and going with what we got. Even a guy like Halladay would not be enough. Keep our guys, keep plugging away and still have a team together that compete for years. Make some moves in the offseason and get ready for a great 2010. And who knows, 2009 could still be good to. Just need to get hot and get some breaks. In Doug I trust.

    I still marvel at how great of a pickup he has turned out to be by Melvin. Dude was taken off the scrap heap in September for nothing. Now he is pitching like one of the best setup men in all of baseball.
