Thanks Brewers bullpen for blowing a chance at a sweep and a 4 game win streak.

He is a scary looking guy, maybe Macha thinks he might jump him after the game if he were to sit for more then 2 days in a row. Honestly, I say ride Rivera till he doesn't hit or just looks terrible on defense.

I will always be thankful to Selig for bringing back baseball to Milwaukee in 1970. But I will never forgive him for handing the team over to his daughter and letting her run the team into the ground for years and blowing up the team after the 92' season. I am thankful they approved the sale to Mark Attanasio, thanks for that Bud.

brewdude15, you know that the bobble has a blackberry? hawing, the "and that" bobble would be sweet!
  5. BrewCrewForever
I do still scratch my head on letting Frank Kremblas go.

Am I a sucker for getting very excited for Jones and even more so for Rogers? I have never found myself checking the minor league forum so much, specifically the link reports to see how they did when they start. Would it be a stretch for these guys to be ready for 2011? Maybe even at some point in 2010?
  7. BrewCrewForever
I agree, I hope it is just one bobble. I hope they have him talking on a Blackberry or something.

3 games in a row? I doubt Kendall, err I mean Macha would let us get that greedy.
  9. BrewCrewForever
Has anyone seen a picture of the Melvin bobble yet anywhere? It's not up on brewers.com yet. Im very curious to see how it will look.
  10. BrewCrewForever
Kendall can still start, but I think Rivera should be playing at the least 2 games per week, maybe 3. Kendall can play the other games.
  11. BrewCrewForever
When is the last time this happened? Oh that is right, NEVER! It is about time. Homer and Mitch were so pumped on Lowe's Extra Innings after the game when Macha said that. It was funny.
  12. BrewCrewForever
This is about par for the course for Cubs fans at Wrigley.
  13. BrewCrewForever
If they do get Davis, is he available to start Saturday? I would much rather see him then see Burns get another start.
  14. BrewCrewForever
Same here. I am all about getting Davis, and while it probably won't make a huge difference he could at least help give us a respectable record at the end of the season. But if they have to give up Mark Rogers or Mike Jones for him, I would pass.

While agree with most that Witrado is a hack and does not seem to care much about his job, I really like Haudricourt and always have. Sure he is the "prince of darkness" but I enjoy reading his material and appreciate is constant blog post updates and twitter updates. Not to mention anytime I have emailed him with a question or made a comment he has always responded and been professional about it. I also like his bits on the D-List and Homer on 540 ESPN.

I agree, if they can't at least pull out like a 5 game win streak. They have no shot.

This season is starting to remind me of 2006. High expectations, a makeshift pitching staff and just a huge letdown.
  18. BrewCrewForever
    So frustrating.
  19. BrewCrewForever
Pretty good outing by Villa tonight. Too bad he can't win it.
  20. BrewCrewForever
I agree with LouisEly. Speed can really put pressure on the defense and be a big weapon. Look at Nyjer Morgan, Michael Bourn and Juan Pierre. Sure they don't hit for big power numbers, but they scare the heck out of me and I always hope we had a guy like that, a weapon. I think Escobar can be that guy, and Bourgeois could be a nice player like that off the bench.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Two big hits for Kendall, wow. I'm impressed.
  22. BrewCrewForever
Yup, I believe they got rid of it after last season.
  23. BrewCrewForever
    Already down, jeez.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Perfectly said thablingster. My thoughts exactly. I have crushed the guy the past two seasons, but he did leave behind a lot of nice memories as well. I will always remember those that you mentioned above and more. Good luck Billy, but this is the best for the both of us.
  25. BrewCrewForever
Villa with a chance to lower ERA under 6 tonight, please do that. Hope to see Escobar get a chance tonight to do something, even pinch run. Dude is lighting fast.
