Ah yes, "Superstar" by Lupe Fiasco. Love that song, it fit him well. But I do like "Go Getta" by Young Jeezy that he uses now.

Did you happen to tune in in time to see Rickie's double? Just smoked itYeah, I saw it. He smoked that pitch as well. Lots of hard hit balls. Arroyo not foolin no one tonight. Man Hardy is heating up for the Brewrs and my fantasy team http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif showing why I took him off the board as the 4th SS taken.

That a boy Corey! They are hitting Arroyo well so far, even Braun's out was hit hard at Phillips.

That is one of the cardinal sins of baseball. NEVER make the first out at home plate. And don't run on Jay Bruce, he has an arm and a good one.

Great points! And Braun already has his own clothing line and deals with Nike, Wilson, Sam Bat, Remington, AirTran and I think a few more. So its not like playing in Milwaukee has stopped him in that regard.

I hope we see the Parra we saw last Friday against the Dbacks.

I'm a huge Rome fan and an avid listener when I can actually get it in on my radio in my office. I have thought about becoming a member so I can hear any of the parts I miss and really want to hear. Is it worth it? How much is it?

It was a good article and funny. "High Fidelity" is one of my all-time favorite films, so I did enjoy the comparison. Braun is and has been my favorite players since he got called up May 25th of 2007. I developed a huge man crush on him in spring training of that season and it never went away. I'm enjoying the ride with Ryan and will for at least 6 more years after this one. But I'm not one to think he will automatically leave Milwaukee after that deal is up. I don't think he would have ever signed that long term deal so early if he didn't like and want to stay in Milwaukee. And I believe in my heart Mark A. will do whatever it takes to keep Ryan here for his career ala Yount spending his entire career here. I know to me any many others it would be special to see that happen. And if it doesn't, I will never forget Braun and the new team he goes to would probably jump to my 2nd favorite team. In a way I think Ryan will stay because he wants this team and city to be his. And hopefully he can bring championship(s) to the Brew City.

This is a sad day for facial hair. Did he mention anything on the news as to why? Did the anchor give him the business about it?

First, congratulations to BrewCrewIn2004. I knew the wedding was coming up, but I thought it was a little further into the future. Thanks Casey! I appreciate it. It was this past Saturday the 2nd.

I wish we had a real leadoff hitter so Rickie could bat 2nd, 5th or 6th. But we just don't have that option right now.
  12. BrewCrewForever
He sure would like nice on our bench right about now. But I can't fault the man for taking a job where he gets to play everyday. He deserves it. I will always have a special spot in my heart for Russell.

I would be okay with Gamel playing LF but he has never played OF. Hall at least has an entire season under his belt in CF. That is why I would rather take my chances with Gamel at 3B and Hall in LF. This is if Braun were to go on the DL and miss a large chunk of time.
  14. BrewCrewForever
On defense I can't really disagree, but on offense I don't think so. But Braun seems to be healthy so we don't really have to worry about it.

PNC Park looking like Dolphins Stadium, empty.

Congrats Ross! Being a man who has been married a total of 3 days I can't tell you much about married life. Hope you enjoy Jamaica, I have heard from people who have been there that it is fantastic. Myself and my bride are heading to the Dominican Republic on Friday for our honeymoon.

    Weeks doing it all tonight.

Hopefully the Hall injury is no big deal and more for caution.

His OBP scares me a bit. But everything else has been awesome thus far. Hope he keeps it up and gets his BB's up as well.

I love watching Gallardo pitch. Should be interesting to see how Hall plays in LF not playing the OF since 2007.
  21. BrewCrewForever
I'm all for it but just on HR not HR and Fair or Foul. Obviously they do not have it yet for fair or foul but they should, as evident by Friday night Brewers game. That one blown call cost the Brewers that game.
  22. BrewCrewForever
I voted for Lawrie. It should not even be close, Brett should win.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Gamel is not coming up until they have a starting spot for him somewhere. It would just not making any sense to sit him on the bench and not play everyday.
  24. BrewCrewForever
If Braun goes on the DL that would be awful. It is probably my worst fear, well maybe Gallardo going on the DL could be worse. Hopefully it is not too serious and he is back out there tonight.

Love Spinal Tap, one of my favorite movies ever! And I hope they keep the "Hells Bells" at 11 all year.
