  1. So you listened to it twice and didn't like any of the songs? None of them?
  2. Yeah if they make a Suppan bobble that would really stink. I don't think I would bother getting it.
  3. Would Sheets take a 1 year deal from the Brewers with some incentives? Maybe even an option for a second year?
  4. Baseball-Reference.com did a great piece on him yesterday for there stat of the day. Says he is for sure a HOF and they back it up. Link
  5. Sheets injuries have frustrated me, but he is a very good pitcher and I would totally take him back at 1 or even 3 years for the right price. Him paired all season with a healthy Gallardo, an improving Parra and a solid Bush would be a very nice rotation. Oh and Suppan as the 5th.
  6. I liked the happy ending. I guess the only thing I would have left hanging is the Vince/E storyline. Like Vince still gets the Scorsese movie but we leave the last episode with E still not knowing about it.
  7. I watched religiously the first few seasons. Then I just kind of got out of it, not because it got bad I just did. My friend has all the seasons on DVD I might have to borrow them and see what I all missed. It is a great drama.
  8. I like it a lot. Sounds much more like the "Illusion" albums but has a sprinkle of "Appetite" in it. Unlike a lot of hard rock bands today no one song on this record sounds the same. Which a a great thing. I would say this is for sure one of my favorite records of the year along with Eddie Vedder's "Into The Wild" and Death Cab's "Narrow Stairs". Key tracks: "Better", "Street of Dreams", "If The World", "There Was A Time" and "Sorry".
  9. This would really suck. Powell is the man. When Uecker retires he needs to be here to be the main radio guy.
  10. Same here. It is a great feeling when $20 fills your tank up. I love it.
  11. Not to mention that if I remember correctly, he once smoked a joint that was passed to him at a Dave Matthews concert. Actually it was a Alicia Keyes concert and he thought it was a clove cigarette.
  12. Either way I do not see DeJesus as an upgrade over Cameron. Sure DeJesus is cheaper, but the Brewers still have to pay by giving up players to get him. I wouldn't say he is an upgrade on defense, but on offense he is. Sure less power but higher OBP, higher BA and another left handed bat in the lineup which we really need. Not to mention the cheaper and younger factor.
  13. I think charging for the autograph is just trying to turn some of the professional autograph seekers (looking to turn a profit) away in favor of regular fans. I agree with that totally. And honestly, I think getting a picture with Braun would be cooler then getting his autograph. I got him on a ball already, I think I'm going for a picture with him.
  14. I can't remember all the people I have traded bobbles with but I know all the deals have been smooth and I would do business with any of them again. I would think they would say the same for me.
  15. I think the whole logic behind a Cameron deal is to improve the team's pitching by getting an arm in return for Cam, and then going out and getting a guy like DeJesus to fill the hole in CF. In a year, Cam isn't under contract with the Brewers, and (hopefully) we won't be in a position where we are looking to use him to fill other holes. My thinking as well Peavey. Get an arm or two for Cameron then make a deal to get DeJesus. Gets a left handed bat in the lineup with a good OBP and the ability to leadoff. I reallly hope Melvin can swing these deals.
  16. I think he could, he has the athletic ability to do so. But he needs another year or two in LF to get more comfortable with the OF itself.
  17. Trade Cameron for pitching from NY and then make a trade to KC for DeJesus. I would love that.
  18. A. No doubt, seeing and experiencing that would be incredible.
  19. I would do that trade in a minute. I would love that trade. Im a big fan of DeJesus and Teahen.
  20. One of my favorite shows by far. Me and a couple other buddies get together every Sunday night and watch together. It has been so frustrating this season with Vince struggling to get his career back on track. I thought Smoke Jumpers was gonna do that. But then that German director screwed everything up. Will be interesting to see what happens in the season finale in NY. I hope somehow maybe next season Vince rises back to prominence when they resurrect "The Ramones" movie he was gonna do.
  21. In no real order: The Office Seinfeld Entourage Family Guy It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia 30 Rock Flight Of The Conchords SNL Curb Your Enthusiasm That 70's Show Honorable Mention: Yes Dear, Extras, Friends, The Simpsons, In Living Color, King Of Queens, Arrested Development and Chappelle Show
  22. I think he has value as a SS to some teams. Not sure how much value, but some.
  23. Lol. I didn't know Barnes reviewed albums. I somehow doubt Barnes would give it an A-.
  24. I'm a big fan of DeJesus. I would love to swing a deal for him. I just don't see it happening since we brought Cameron back.
