I have faith in Doug Melvin to make the right moves for this club. He won't make a Suppan like signing mistake twice. And I don't think he would trade Hardy or Fielder unless blown away by a deal. He knows how good/valuable they both are.

Reynolds, Leiter, Mae and Kusnierek added to officially per mlb.com. Vasgersain was already confirmed. I like what they have so far.

Kinda shocking news. Torres had a good year and proved he can still pitch, struggled a bit down the stretch but that should not overshadow his strong year. I wanted him back, not as closer but as that setup guy in the 7th and or 8th. Good luck to him and I hope he and his family enjoy the more time together now. Thanks for 2008 Sal!

They are $1.99 each. I downloaded the "clincher" game tonight. Took quite awhile to finish.

Getting the clincher game for sure!

That would be sweet if Braun won a silver slugger.

I would have to imagine some drop off, but I doubt it will be too dramatic. Dude can flat hit no matter what stadium it is in.

I stared one. I think it's on page 2 of the Major League forum.

So the Marlins are unloading again? Yet they signed Ramirez to a long deal.

Thank God Holliday didn't go to an NL Central team. He is a awesome player, could really help Oakland. I too thought it was very un-Beane at first but like Brian said the comp picks will be nice and it gives them a good chance to compete in 2009 before he leaves. Not a bad move at all.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'm gonna tape that game. It was awesome.

Honestly, from the 2008 season, the Brewers finally have a lot of worthy candidates for 'classic' game rebroadcasts. I look forward to seeing them too. Totally, so many exciting great games last year. Can't wait till they start rolling these out.

Thanks for all the info guys. The shoe brand is DVS. I guess when I get them if they seem too loose and big I can always send them back.

Question, I just ordered a pair of shoes online. They were a sweet price but I had to order a half size bigger shoe because they had limited quantities left. I normally wear a 10 and these are 10.5. How big a difference is that half size gonna make? Are they going to be way to big on me or will they still fit okay? Just thought someone on here may have had similar experience with shoes.

Anyone know what games and when they will start showing some of the best games from 2008? Really looking forward to reliving some of the games from a special season.

I usually get at least 6 hours per night. I try to shoot for 8, but I don't always get to bed early enough for that. Get up each morning for work around 6am. I enjoy sleep and usually can fall asleep fairly easily.

I don't think Ned Yost would have approved of you going out to check. It's rude. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

As good as Holliday is, I think the Rockies come out ahead on that deal.

I'm all for that, I would much rather see Peavy in a Braves uniform then have to see him in a Cubs uniform. As much as I hate the Cubs adding Peavy to their rotation and re-signing Dempster would be just sick.

I do like Anderson. Liked him more without Schroeder on the TBS playoff coverage. It just seems with Schroeder he is always stroking Bill's ego as a former player.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Ha, that would be funny but I hope not. He can enjoy another season in the WGN booth with Len Kasper.

This was quote a surprise to me. It's crazy the interim Manager from last year and two of the three guys that interviewed for the job are all on the coaching staff.

The only pitcher the Rays would trade I think is Edwin Jackson. And I wouldn't mind getting Jackson in a deal. But not for Prince or Hart. Jackson has electric stuff, but needs to cut down his walks. If he does that he could be special.

Yup, probably the best part of Gmail. I would never use another email service.

This weeks was better then last weeks. But not by a whole lot. Like most said the "Bill Buttlicker" part was good.
