I almost forgot about Hardees. Since we have not had one in West Bend for some years I only eat there if I am out of town somewhere and see one. They do have real good burgers, roast beef and they have great curly fries. I would add them to my Wendy's and Taco Bell as my favorite fast foot places.

I would love to see Branyan have a 30 plus HR season with the Mariners. If he stays healthy and gets enough AB's I know he can do it.

CC is amazing, but no way would I want the Brewers to give him a 6 year deal. A team like ours just can't do that for a pitcher.

Another question I have is my iPod had been used only with a PC before. Do I need to reformat it to work with a Mac now?

Those are great point. I did not closely examine their stats before I wrote that. I'm totally a WHIP guy to, didn't know Maddux had that much better of one then Ryan. Maybe I do overate Ryan's K's and no-hitters.

I wouldn't mind getting Bobby Jenks to close. But not for JJ Hardy. No way.

No I don't think so. I'm not sure who the top 5 pitchers of all time would be, but I don't think Maddux would be in that list. Edit: One guy I know would be in my top 5: Nolan Ryan. The other 4, not sure.

I just recently purchased a MacBook. I had been a long time PC user. I have question specifically, why is it every time I turn on my computer and go to open Firefox I have to run the download again? Is there someway to not have to do that? It still has all my bookmarks and everything. Also I guess is there any other tips other Mac users have for a new user?

No one could work the corners of the plate like him. No one. And man what movement on his pitches.

That is what I am starting to believe as well. This signing CC stuff is just way to much of a long shot. If I were Melvin and Attanasio I would just move on and starting building this club for 2009. I love Sabathia but there is no way he is playing in Milwaukee again. If we keep Sheets and he stays healthy we would have a nice rotation with him Gallardo, Parra, Bush and Suppan.

Man, I missed the episode on Thursday since I was oddly enough out at an office Christmas party. Just watched it online and man what a great episode. "Your the silent killer." Also loved Andy and Moes palying catch from like a couple of feet away and then Moes nails him in the head. And the final scene with Jim and Pam was classic Jim.

I like and have liked Derek Lowe for quite sometime. But he just does not fit in with the Brewers and the amount of money we would have to pay for a pitcher like him.

My favorite fast food places are Taco Bell and Wendy's. Hands down.

Hi most similar pitcher on baseball-reference.com is Joe Borowski. That is not good.

"Meh" is just about right. That is my reaction to this signing. I still hope McClung becomes closer.

I have to be honest, I don't get this?

I would not have a problem giving Ben a 2 year deal. And a third year option isn't bad either. Especially if he stays injury free and puts up the types of seasons we all know he can. CC seems like a pipe dream so getting Ben back to go with Yo and Manny would be very nice.

If they want to ask about Hardy, I would start by asking them about Matt Cain. I would go now lower then Matt Cain.

I will miss Russell. One of my all-time favorite Brewers. Best of luck to him in Seattle. So does this mean Melvin has big things in mind for 3B, or he is gonna platoon Hall and Lamb?

Darn, I missed this. But seeing something about the season in review made me remember that the vouchers given away at the 1st playoff game can be used to get the DVD at the Fan Zone on 12/15.

I think the "Winter of 2007-2008" should never ever be mentioned on this site again.
  23. BrewCrewForever
And so it begins. I hate winter.

The CD is $11.99 at Best Buy. I paid $12.99 at a local CD store the day before it was released at Best Buy. So not really $15.

After 5 or 6 songs, Chinese Democracy = GnR + Queen + Faith No More + Freak Kitchen + Extreme + Pink Floyd + Robert Plant + Dream Theater Totally agree with you on that analogy. "Sorry" sounds like a song that could have been on any Floyd record.
