I know the first game of Cactus League action this Monday the 28th will be on WTMJ with Bob and Cory.
  2. BrewCrewForever
Marcum is a solid choice for the home opener. Looking forward to that.
  3. BrewCrewForever
Kevin was awesome again this week as he has been all season long.
  4. BrewCrewForever
Loved Ron's reaction when he found out that Mulligans was all boarded up. "What did they do with all the steaks that were in there?"
  5. BrewCrewForever
Metallica, Korn or Rush for me.
  6. BrewCrewForever
Ha, Amen to this. I feel the exact same way. The covering the team can be a homer, since I am to! I just don't want idiots like Witrado covering the team.

HENDERSON! I love that on the Sklar Bro's podcast. So funny. I to can't believe how funny Chris Cox is. I love his Jerry Jones and Vin Scully.

While it would have been fantastic to have Pascarelli back, couldn't ask for better co-hosts than Keith Law and Mark Simon. Law is one of my favorite baseball writers and Simon was a guest every Wednesday on Baseball Today last season, very stat oriented guy. I think this will be better than the show with Everett who I did not mind too much.

Love it. This is just who Zack Greinke is. He is quirky and a little different. I can't wait to read his quotes throughout the season, it is going to be good copy for the likes of Haudricourt and McCalvy.
  10. BrewCrewForever
He was drafted in 2003 and was up in 2005. That is somewhat rushed I believe.

Another solid episode. Love the way they stereotyped the typical morning show DJ with "The Douche". Opening with Ron's typewriter was classic as well. After how bad The Office was last night Parks and Rec continues to be strong.
  12. BrewCrewForever
I thought it was one of the worst episodes of the series. I was not into it at all. After a few really good episodes in a row they air this? Just my opinion.

Love this deal. Rickie is just hitting his prime. Of course he hast to stay healthy, but if he does he will easily be worth every penny of this contract. Feels good to know we have Braun, Weeks, Hart and Gallardo all locked up.

I have used gomusicnow.com for awhile now. It is fantastic, never had any issues. I guess I never even stopped to think if it was illegal.

Oh man, bringing back Pascarelli would be golden. I won't get my hopes up, but I hope it happens.
  16. BrewCrewForever
The Brewers have stuck with Rickie through the injuries and low production. It would really suck to lose him now as he is about to hit his peak years.
  17. BrewCrewForever
Adam McCalvy wrote a blog about his and said basically they didn't want to do so many of the stars in 1 year or do more of guys that already have had them like Braun, Fielder, Weeks, Hart, etc. I guess I understand that.
  18. BrewCrewForever
One thing I will say about this season, I have loved everything Kevin has done. He has been classic.
  19. BrewCrewForever
Unreal that Gallardo did not get a bobble. So they give one to Wolf, but not Yovani? Oof. I like the choice of all the others; Axford, McGehee, Greinke and Counsell.
  20. BrewCrewForever
Great news, can't wait to find out the bobbles tomorrow.
  21. BrewCrewForever
I would be shocked if the 1-5 was anything but Weeks, Hart, Braun, Fielder, McGehee. Those are your 5 best hitters, I want them getting the most AB's. Not even sure the 6 through 8 order matters. My guess is Yuny bats 6th, Gomez 7th and Lucroy 8.

JimH5, I believe Neyer was Insider at one time. But for at least the last couple of years he was free under the ESPN Sweet Spot blog. It was on the left side of the MLB page. I'm with you on the Fantasy 411 podcast, it is awesome.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Bookmarks have been updated accordingly. I was shocked when this news broke yesterday. Neyer is a fantastic writer, one my favorites. Like Deadspin said, ESPN.com didn't really deserve him anyway.
  24. BrewCrewForever
I never had a problem with Drew Olson and do enjoy him on the radio. I just don't think he would go back into beat writing. Brainerd would be fine with me, I just don't think it could get any worse than Tony W.
  25. BrewCrewForever
I have no inside info, but I doubt it is him. I just can't see it. Between his radio show, being editor of espnmilwaukee.com and stuff he writes for the site, I don't think he could be on the beat.
