  1. Touche, I have had it since it debut in January of 09'. The programming has been outstanding since the outset.
  2. The petty day to day things that go on in an office work setting. I like my job but when I sit and think about all the stuff I see and hear going on around me it can get quite annoying.
  3. I have said it before, but when Uecker and Costas get together it is gold. Really looking forward to this.
  4. Before that outing in Chicago, he looked fantastic. Hopefully he can revert back to that form.
  5. I'm all for this. He can play both OF corner's and both IF corner's (although only emergency at 3B) and he is a lefty bat with some pop. Would be a great bench guy to have. And he is Menasha's own!
  6. Perhaps talks for Weeks extension will heat up in a couple of weeks at the Winter Meetings.
  7. Hopefully Paul Konerko signs somewhere else, that would make this trade even more possible.
  8. I would trade Fielder straight up for Floyd in a second. As soon as Kenny Williams called and asked I would be putting the deal through. I really hope this could happen.
  9. What about a Garza trade? or a Shields trade? I would not really want Shields, but I would love to swing a trade for Garza. Would cost less prospects to get Garza than it would to get Greinke.
  10. I to would not mind getting him. But I would not give him more than 3 years and I would prefer only 2. But I doubt that he takes a 2 year deal. Like Toby said, if he is not the best pitcher we get, it would not be too bad to get Pavano.
  11. I wonder when Lawrie will finally have a Bowman card? All he has is those Razor cards and Topps Debut cards.
  12. The more I hear that Fielder will probably not be traded, the more I think the Brewers might have to part with some of their better prospects and make a run at Greinke. Not sure how else we are going to improve our rotation.
  13. Where does all of this Braun stuff come from? I have never heard any of this kind of negative stuff till this offseason. Hearing not just from Witrado but a lot of the Milwaukee media.
  14. Heard an interview with Peterson on MLB Network Radio yesterday. He sounded pretty disappointed, no ill will toward the Brewers, nothing but good things to say about the organization. But you could tell he thought things were improving and he had some unfinished business he wanted to take care of in 2011. I liked Peterson, seemed like a good guy and a very intelligent guy who loved his job.
  15. I would like to see Weeks extended. However if they can't work out a deal, I would be okay with dealing him if they can get back a good pitcher in return. I am starting to wonder at this point if Weeks might have slightly more value than Fielder, mostly based on position.
  16. I read on Rob Neyer's blog that Prado will be playing LF per the Braves GM. Uggla at 2B and Chipper at 3B.
  17. How does Witrado have a job in journalism? Will the JS just hire anyone and let them stay as long as they want?
  18. The home pinstripes are quite good and classy looking. I will say that about the retro uni's.
  19. I like the old ball and glove logo and all that it represents. But I think it is a bit overrated. I really enjoy the current color scheme and logo and most of my Brewers gear is the new stuff. I do own a few things with the retro logo though.
  20. If Webb is healthy and ready to pitch I would like the Brewers to take a look.
  21. If Simmons make the HOF, do the Brewers retire his number? He played 5 seasons in Milwaukee, more than either Fingers or Aaron. And it seems the Brewers only retire numbers of HOFers. So will #23 be up in the rafters at Miller Park? I think that would be pretty sweet.
  22. I also first heard about Kato being a Brewers fan on a podcast, when Swardson was on the Sklar Brothers podcast. I had no idea through the OJ trial back in 94 that Kato was from WI. Crazy.
  23. I sure hope Simmons gets in. He deserves it. As far as catchers goes he is one of the all-time greats.
  24. If he goes I will miss his tight pants and wearing a jacket in 90 degree weather. But on a serious note, I liked the guy. Like is theories on pitching and think as the season went the staff got better and started to take to Rick's way of coaching. We'll see what happens. I to believe if Ron didn't want him at all he would have already been let go.
  25. I to loved the meeting with the TBS sensor guy. Vintage Conan.
