  1. I hope your right And That. I want to keep both Rickie and Brett. But I think if we don't extend Prince that Gamel should play 1B and Lawrie should move to RF. Perhaps a lineup like this in 2012: 1. Weeks - 2B 2. Escobar - SS 3. Lawrie - RF 4. Braun - LF 5. Gamel - 1B 6. McGehee - 3B 7. Cain - CF 8. Lucroy - C Just a thought.
  2. Better get Mat Gamel a first baseman glove. I want to sign Prince as much as the next guy, but if he expects this kind of money we just can't. In that case, get Gamel comfortable playing 1B and know that the Brewers can get some quality players back in a trade for Prince when they decide to do that.
  3. I like Hart in RF. I would like to see Gomez or Gerut in CF.
  4. We have scored 5 runs which aint bad. But the pitching (Davis and Vargas) was disgusting today.
  5. I don't think it will be too much longer before Kottaras is playing more then Zaun.
  6. I like the lineup. Hope it produces tonight. Let's go 1-0 today and avoid being swept at home. Need a big outing from Wolf.
  7. I know it is only 5 games in, but I really hope Macha flip flops Gomez and Escobar in the lineup. It seems pretty clear that Escobar is more selective then Gomez and is a better overall hitter. So he should bat #2. Gomez would be better at #8 so if he does get on base and can try to steal with the pitcher, Weeks and Escobar up behind him.
  8. I think I would like to see him stay healthy this entire season and then extend him, but if they did it during the season I wouldn't be opposed. I also kind of hope that they move Lawrie to the OF at some point so we could have a lineup that has both Weeks and Lawrie in it. Perhaps and OF in 2011 or 2012 of Braun, Cain and Lawrie?
  9. I hear that. I am very concerned that a sweep is very possible. Makes that loss Friday night hurt that much more.
  10. Looks like we are gonna have to beat Carpenter tomorrow night to NOT get swept in this series. Makes last nights loss that much harder to swallow.
  11. Escobar seems to be more selective then Gomez and just a better hitter. I think they should switch spots.
  12. I don't think Gallardo wanted to get that bunt down, not much effort. And then he swings terrible at the last pitch.
  13. Karros and Stockton are terrible. Probably the worst team of the Fox baseball announcers. And that includes Buck and McCarver.
  14. No kidding, it's like pulling teeth. But some of these pitches are awfully close and the ump is calling them balls.
  15. Bad start. Braun's throw was brutal. Is it me or are some of Gallardo's pitches close. Like they should be strikes.
  16. It's too early in the season for a gut punch loss like this one was. Hurts. Gallardo got to go out and toss a gem tomorrow. Be the stopper.
  17. Okay I am gonna go with Haren over Jimenez. I think Kemp is for sure one of my two position keepers. 3B is thin, but so is catcher. I am gonna have a close call between Wright and Wieters.
  18. Brewers lineup per the Brewers twitter feed: 1. Weeks - 2B 2. Gomez - CF 3. Braun - LF 4. Fielder - 1B 5. McGehee - 3B 6. Edmonds - RF 7. Zaun - C 8. Escobar - SS 9. Bush - P
  19. Really hoping Bush has a good start to his 2010. Pickup where he left off before getting injured last season.
