  1. I keep telling myself it is only 8 games in, but this season is off to a weird and bad start. But, I love the Brewers and I love baseball. Heres to Soup being hot tomorrow!
  2. Weeks, Gomez and Escobar all had pretty good games though. That is my silver lining.
  3. I guess Doug figured if Kenny isn't going to use Stetter in the most obvious situation then he might as well send him to AAA, maybe Don Money will use him in Nashville.
  4. Stupid. How can you not use Stetter there. Even Yost would have known to use Stetter there.
  5. I'm not upset with the players, I think they played a pretty good game today. I'm upset with the idiot manager who left a reliever in who couldn't throw strikes to give up 4 runs and our lead.
  6. Macha failed to use Stetter in the exact spot in a game why you have Stetter in the first place. Ididot.
  7. I put this game on Macha. He lost this game if they do lose.
  8. And this is what happens when we play the Cubs at Wrigley.
  9. I see the point, but he was pitching good and only 77 pitches. But it worked out so its all good.
  10. Bush at only 77 pitches? Why on earth would you pull him?
  11. Yes it stinks that we traded Cruz and De La Rosa. But at the time they were traded they had contributed basically nothing to the major leagues. I think I am more upset with the Cruz trade then De La Rosa because Jorge really just did not seem to have it where Cruz had pretty much raked in the minors and got very little time to see what he could do for the big club. I think a brief September call up one year.
  12. Just guessing that he will. They seem to be a package deal. I know Andy will be along for the tour Conan is doing.
  13. It's only a few games, but he seems to be doing a much better job laying off the low and away breaking ball. If he can continue to do that, he will have success.
  14. I suppose there is no chance at all that they would part with Matt Cain now? I can dream I guess.
  15. Anderson has gotten much better and I really enjoy listening to him. I know a lot of people get on Schroeder but I like him to. And having MLB Network since it launched and hearing a lot of other teams broadcasts I appreciate our team that much more. We have been lucky with PBP guys for awhile now: Pachske, Matt V, Sutton and now Anderson. Liked them all.
  16. I know it's crazy, but Gomez gets optioned and they keep 13 pitchers for a while, given the poor starting pitching. If he has options left it wouldn't surprise me. They have Edmonds and Gerut they could make it without an extra bench guy for a bit. But I think with all I have heard that they will put Vargas on the DL for now.
  17. I'm not giving up on Hoffman yet. If he blows another 3 or more this month yet then I might worry. Closers have these bad streaks once in awhile. And Friday I don't blame Hoffman as much as I give Stavinoha credit for somehow hitting that pitch from his knee. I am glad though that if Hoffman continues to struggle for some reason that we have guys like Hawkins and Coffey who could close if need be. Not to mention Zach Braddock being groomed in AAA to be a closer someday soon.
  18. I love the move. He won't touch Leno or Letterman in ratings. But his show on cable he can be more edgy and won't have to tone it down like he did on NBC. Looking forward to this.
