Soup blames neck injury on bad pillows
BrewCrewForever replied to RayKingsForemanGrill's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Unbelievable. Wow. Can't even say much more then that. -
I think I would have preferred the picture of Braun circling the bases after his HR vs the Cubs. But I get why they put the Sabathia on the magnet, because it is the 2000's bobble they are giving out to go along with Aaron, Cooper, and Yount who are the other three. That being said, I am PUMPED that they have a CC bobble. I had hoped for one since we got him at the trade deadline in 2008. And honestly, it looks like one of the better ones they have done.

WI proposes new Brewer license plates
BrewCrewForever replied to DatHoser's topic in Off-Topic Forum
That is awesome Patrick. I am thinking of getting the modern logo plates for my wife's vehicle, mostly because I drive a beater of a car and they will look nicer on hers. -

Very excited for this. Will be good to have Yo locked up long term. Should be pretty cost effecient as well. Much like the Braun deal. Thanks Mark and Doug!

Exactly, we are "fans". That means we can have opinions and share them here. And the majority of us very much dislike Jeff Suppan and the decision to give him the 5th starter spot because he is not good for the team. He will more then likely hurt the team. But that is MY opinion.
-
If McGehee keeps hitting he will be fine in the #5 spot. So I am fine with Rickie being #1 since he does get on base at a good clip.
-
Well I am all for Suppan going out there and being a productive starting pitcher I hope it happens. But I know it is not going to. He stinks, he takes the mound with nothing. All he has is smoke and mirrors and he gets lucky when the hitters get themselves out. He better have a short leash. The sooner they end this experiment and give the 5th spot to Narveson or Parra the better. Heck, it would not surprise me if Suppan is out of baseball next season.
-
Productive outs. And he showed off his speed scoring from 1B on that hit by Escobar. Not to mention he threw a runner out. Like him as our backup catcher a lot.
-
I will still take Zaun over Kendall.
-
Kanyon: "Who's better then Kanyon?" Crowd: "EVERYBODY!" He was a good heel, always liked him.
-
Rough start for Zaun. I'm not gonna give up yet though. Although I am excited to see what Kottaras can do tomorrow.

Thanks.

Don't you know it.Career .313/.395/.576 line in 352 plate appearances, so BCI2004 isn't far off. Yeesh.Man, he does kind of own us. I didn't know the numbers but it just seems he is always on base vs us. Gotta love Wolf, 7 K's and 0 BB.
-
That is how you go oppo. Well done Rickie.
-
Me to, it's only 2 games but Zaun reminds me to much of Kendall. I think Kottaras will start as I think unlike in the past with Kendall, the backup catcher will get a lot of the day game after night game starts.
-
I was talking about Gomez's first AB when Weeks was at 2B.
-
Okay Zaun, time for your first hit as a Brewer.
-
I agree, but was that not a productive out?
-
Hmm, looked low and away there.
-
He was out, but I love the idea. Gomez gotta do that more often.
-
Is it me or does Helton just seem to get a hit every AB vs the Brewers.
-
Hopefully Arnett and Heckathorn can move through the system quick as well which they could both being college pitchers.

Scouting report for J.J. Hardy
BrewCrewForever replied to jjkoestler's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
That is one of the things that most drove me nuts about Hardy. How is a guy in that athletic of shape and his size not faster? I mean he could be considered down right slow. -
autographs, signings, and tips, part 3
BrewCrewForever replied to tony2sweet's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I really want to get that poster signed as well. Love that picture of Braun/Fielder and that it is poster sized is icing on the cake. Want to try to get both of them on it and frame it to go up in my office. I might even go to paid signings to get that done this year.
