Does anyone actually think Carlos Gomez has a mean-spirited or egotistical bone in his body? Lighten up ya old cranks. By most accounts, Gomez is pretty wonderful to be around.

I don't think it is out of the question that we will go through 10+ guys in the 'pen this season. Besides that, he is a decent candidate for a September call-up as well. I don't think it is a sure thing, but I would not be surprised.

Heckathorn headed to AAA. I have to imagine we will see him in the big league pen at some point this season.

This Malcom Dowell release is a weird one but you just cannot sit here and play executioner until more details emerge. He seemed like a decent dude. If this is behavior/work ethic related, it would reinforce the Brewers no-nonsense developmental image.

I pretty much fall in line with this post. Seid has a nose for big-leaguers. Time will tell if he has nose for All-stars. -

3/3/2013: Reports had Jed Bradley sitting 91-92 so far this spring and touching 93-94 in his bullpens. That is practically cause for celebration. If he could somehow bump that another half grade or so, we are in serious business.
