I thought things were changed this year so that all partial games that were started get suspended and continued at a later date instead of starting over. You're probably right. If they suspend, the stats will count, and I have seen other games started and suspended.

If they ppd, another contingency is Ashby won't get credit for his forst MLB K. Odd tidbits for a totally predictable rain delay.

Yeah, so many questions. Like, is this locked in as a 7-inning game? Could they suspend and play 5 innings of this one and then a full 9-inning game the same day? It's up to the umps now, at least. Anything to get the Cubs out of meteorology.

This should be a situation Williams can handle, he just isn't to this point. If we lose this it cannot be blamed on guys being out. I get it...but the drop off between Josh and anyone else is big.
