  1. It happens so often that journeymen rake in AAA to struggle mightily at MLB. AAA to MLB is without question the most difficult level jump, as much as I love your content with the minor league stuff...I'm not sure any of those AAA guys will solve any problems. I also don't think there's a single above average defender in the bunch you posted about.

  4. Yeah we'd definitely be better off if we completely swapped rosters with the Pirates. I mean, they are 5-4 we are 5-5. Clearly they are the better team.....
  5. Regarding fantasy metrics, it is significantly flawed to look at fantasy rankings to determine the value. Fantasy valuations generally overvalue speed/stolen bases, don't factor in defense at all, don't factor in strike outs, over value power/HR, etc. Things like stolen bases and HR certainly have value, but a guy like Trea Turner(yes he's better than Adames) is wildly more valuable than Adames in a fantasy format because he hits the stolen base category hard every year. A guy like Wong is one of the best 2b in the league from a WAR perspective, but in a fantasy format i would never even consider holding him on my extremely deep 40 man roster because he doesn't have much of any SB/HR potential. At this stage a good year would be 10 of each with a 750 ops...and that's the upside. And from a general standpoint, It's better to look at the value of the position player group vs specifically the offense, as we're pretty heavily built on run prevention. When you look at the value of our position player group, we have a guy in the top 10 at most positions. When you look strictly at offensive stats, I'd still argue Adames and Narvaez are firmly in that group with Yelich, Tellez, and maybe Urias could land in that group. Cain probably can't, Wong, probably can't, Renfroe is a longshot...but all 3 of those guys supply so much value on defense with 2 at very key defensive spots. At the end of the day, I think we're better served to nitpick this team when we're 40 games in than 10 games in. 40 is still not a lot but the trends certainly matter more. For example, the Pirates are 5-4 currently. Does anyone want to bet they'll continue that trend through 162 games? If so, I will gladly take it for literally any amount you would like.
  6. If I was able to block your posts from my view so I didn't have to deal with your toxicity I would. Posters like you make the in game threads unbearable, and unenjoyable to participate or even view. You have your opinion on the lineup, I have mine.
  7. Woodruff for 6, Ashby or suter for 3? Maybe have a short reliever finish the 6th if woodruff gets in trouble with pitch count.
  8. If he truly gets at bats in Arizona this week, rehab assignments for hitters are often pretty short. If he looks ready enough, he might start a rehab assignment early next week and be back end of next week if all is good. That's certainly an optimistic timeline and would involve avoiding setbacks
  9. Most likely he comes in somewhere between in my opinion. That form is hard for anyone to match, but he's clearly more confident at the plate now than he was. Worth noting, conditions have been difficult for the HR ball. The entire team has I think 3 total so far and at least a few would have been out at miller park but died at the track in wrigley. I also have seen him take 2 called strike 3's that were not strikes already this season, one on a full count that obviously should have then been a walk. At this stage, those couple bad calls had a pretty significant impact on his ratios.
  10. This lineup looks good on paper for sure, especially when you factor in defensive metrics. I get the impression that since we aren't the dodgers and don't have a legit all star or mvp candidate at every position that the offense just sucks...or something. You're also one of the primary people shedding all the tears in the in game threads and literally ruining those.
  11. Mullins with a good swing on a mistake. That's what all stars do...
  12. But we're 4 games in, the season is already over. Why even watch the games anymore?
  13. What's there to discuss? Haven't you been to the in game thread? 4 games in and the season is already over. Nothing can possibly happen from here on out aside from the brewers being bad, based entirely on those 4 games...
  14. good call, a better idea is just not to visit game threads and avoid the tear-filled circle jerk of posters like you crying every time a guy doesn't get a hit with runners on base...
  15. So you're whining because everyone else on the internet is doing it...???
  16. I will never understand why someone would go to a brewers fan forum and whine about them having a bad game...
  17. It's almost a contest, like whoever is the biggest whiner and most negative in the in-game thread gets a prize.
  18. Hopefully yes. They've hit poorly with RISP and it's the 4th game of the season. It's gonna be ok...
  19. All your crying and the Brewers didn't allow any runs...
  20. oh my gosh this team is just so terrible. Everybody sucks why am i even watching. brewers are going to go 1-161 this year for sure. Nobody will get any hits, the pitchers will allow 10 runs a game. Horrible horrible horrible team
  21. Bruh we heard you the first 8 times. The offense sucks, or something...
  22. This is correct, but let's not forget he finished the inning with the torn ACL. Savage.....
