  1. I honestly expected the plan to be patient, work counts, and get to the pen as early as possible. We are doing the complete opposite of that. Attacking early works if you actually get hits, but man, this is going to let Quintana go very deep into the game instead of getting to face a worn out pen.
  2. I tried the free Hulu, but don't see it on there. Anyone get it to work online?
  3. We need to stretch this lead to get to where we can just piggy back starters. Go from Gio to Freddy and save the pen for tomorrow.
  4. Cubs tie the Cards, exactly why we need Gio to keep going. Could very well need the arms tomorrow.
  5. Nice inning! If his spot doesn’t come up, keep trotting him out there. Short leash, sure, but we need length today if possible.
  6. Yea, combination of the bottom of their order and the arms that might be unavailable from our pen today. We need some innings.
  7. Now he’s through the meat of their order though. I stick with him now. I wouldn’t let him bat or face the order a third time, but he should be able to navigate through the bottom of that line up.
  8. Would not an NLCS of the Brewers and Rockies be the most compelling scenario? Both the Rockies and Dodgers up early. I like them having to play the extra tie breaker game to cut down rest and ability to line up rotation.
  9. Good question. I think they are careful with him for sure. He will see strikes with the bases empty, but probably not in any RBI situations.
  10. A week after the trade I hated the guy mostly cuz he screamed “GET THERE” every single time a ball went to the right side. Like so loud you heard it plain as day in the broadcasts. Needless to say, Mr Kratz has grown on me!
  11. . Wrong thread
  12. Very nice night for Woodruff. Now some insurance runs would be nice so Hader, Soria, and Jeffress can stay rested.
