  1. Talk about post season pitching! This staff is crazy right now. What are we going to do for the next 5 days?????
  2. Kind of a downfall of putting Jeffress out there, just give him a chance to lower his confidence. Now your using both top relievers in cold wet conditions.
  3. Probably, but hard to say. There was no really dominant, head turning performance. Other options are Burns or Kratz. Can they just give it to the entire pitching staff?
  4. Honestly think the weather and game 1 and 2 use play in. With a 3 run lead or less they may have been out there. With a 4 run cushion let Burnes go. If we tack on let him finish or Guerra for the 9th maybe. With cold and wet I let Hader and Jeffress sit unless really needed.
  5. Honestly with a 4 run lead I hope they let Burnes throw next and see if they can get to the finish without using Hader/Jeffress in the cold wet conditions.
  6. Are you saying to pull Arcia? Yes...He's a TERRIBLE hitter in big spots like that...Perez would be fine at SS for a few innings, but I send Grandy up there every time He struck out too and you would’ve down graded the defense greatly. No thanks.
  7. Wonder if Counsels pep talk included: “Win today, or you will be playing with frost on your hat by the end of the game tomorrow”.
