  1. The first 3 not Craig’s fault. Batters 4 and 5 to reach in a row... Craig’s fault.
  2. I get using Barnes there, but after the first three reached that was enough. Crazy late hook, yikes.
  3. The more you think about it the more it makes sense. They need to have a loosing streak and slip back farther I think. However, there’s 7 teams ahead of them in the wild card. He’s going to hit free agency anyways and still could resign with them next year. That’s been done before. If the Nats slip, letting him play for a contender as a rental might actually help keep him in their good graces. This all would depend on the Nats slipping farther back in the standings though....
  4. That needs to be caught, it wasn’t going to hit the wall, and he didn’t need to jump.
  5. We're still waiting for it to land. I haven’t seen many hit that high on the scoreboard. One from Prince and one from Russell Branyan come to mind, that’s about it.
  6. Good pitches to Aguilar. Right on the bottom outside corner a couple times.
  7. Thanks for sharing, great news! Roughly where would he slot into the rankings?
  8. Statistically we may, but not the guys we are running out there currently. Without Arcia in there we can't be in that conversation. The dropoff from him to even Saladino is significant, and now we are sometimes playing Miller out there... Arcia makes great plays and then mixes in brain lapse errors. Huge drop to Miller or Sogard, but I think Saladino is respectable. He’s not flashy but won’t commit as many errors as Arcia.
  9. Announcers said the Braves pen was rocky, but the guys they’ve trotted out so far seem to have pretty good stuff.
  10. Man was that a big time start from Chacin on a day our pen is short handed. Tack some on here boys to remove the drama.
  11. I get it this year, but before Cain’s contract is over he’s going to slow. He will still get great jumps but Keon will hold his athleticism. To be honest I’m pretty sure either one would be perfectly fine in any OF spot defensively.
  12. Don’t think he gets all of them, but Keon might not if he had to do it again either. He gets a lot of them though. People have asked if Keon can play a corner spot, but I would put Cain in a corner before Keon. Especially in years to come.
  13. Yeah, this is probably the most surprising thing of 2018 so far (to me). They just came back from 0-9 to the Marlins. Turner with a huge game. Maybe that’s the spark that gets them going after their players only meeting they just held.
  14. Coshun gets excited... Gonna be a tough play.... camera pans to Kratz being 15 feet from first yet.
  15. The Nationals fell below .500 and its July. Didn't see that coming. Maybe Turner is available on the SS market
  16. Keon earning a spot even if it’s late inning D and occasional PR. Play the 8th and 9th of a close game with an OF of Cain, Broxton, Yellich and they’ll eat up a lot of ground
