  1. Nice bat flip on a ground rule double.... Really nice job to get out of it with no runs
  2. Good to see Sutter come out and be aggressive. Gave up a hit but working fast as always and pounding the zone
  3. Other than his pretty horrendous month of June, I don't understand the beef people are having with Thames. He must've spoiled a few with that hot start into thinking that was reality. OPS by Month: (OBP) April- 1.276 (.466) May- .791 (.375) June- .669 (.276) July- .915 (.375) Didn't take that as a "beef" just sayin Santana makes more sense to me in the 2 hole right now. Actually even thought that in April
  4. As much as Shaw has carried us this year, he's been rather unclutch with runners on lately... along with everyone else
  5. Good looking lineup other than Bandy. Bring back the days of early crooked numbers. Get some runs
  6. He was up and hit his weight. He's going to be really good, but he didn't look overly ready right now. I wouldn't term it "rotting" in AAA.
  7. Umm...no. They have the technology for the strikes to actually be called strikes and vice versa. If it's called the correct way within the rules I'm certainly not going to complain about thst call whether it goes against us or not. No one complains that the call was bad when a Brewer hits a foul down the line that misses the foul line by a half inch. I'm not saying it won't be more accurate, but I guarantee something on a corner will be called one way or another and the will be posts the machines are screwing it up. I'm in favor of them but it won't eliminate complaining.
  8. If there were seeing eye singles or bad luck I could see leaving him in this long, but no control, hard hit balls, and on top of it Torres looking at the baseballs like there's some issue with them. Even his own actions are screaming he just don't have it.... really slow hook.
  9. Brewers suck Umpires suck Offense sucks Bullpen sucks Random Game of Thrones reference Just tuned in, but caught up quickly... Once machines call balls and strikes you guys are going to be posting "I thought the machines were supposed to fix this". The beat will go on. As I type Scahill warming up... oh good!
  10. Change your name from Brewers4ever to Brewerswhiletheyhaveamultiplegamelead. Good gracious do people over react a smidge in the IGT.
  11. I argued against Jesus taking more AB at 1st base in that thread, but I'm softening on that stance. He's so much more consistent than Thames, and would probably be close in power numbers with similar AB
  12. If we give up another lead on a walk coming around to score my head will explode.
  13. Walks drive me crazy. They bug me more than errors. I understand that it's impossible to not have any walks, but watching Harrison tie it because of the walk in front of him drives me crazy...
  14. Awesome. Now we need to make a trade with an international team called the Giants so we came have the memorable .... Not thoooose Giants.
  15. At least the Cubs are still loos..... Nevermind.
  16. Too bad the rules are strict that your best bullpen pitchers can only pitch with a lead in the 8th or 9th inning. Innings from Knebel and Barnes are going to be a precious commodity in the second half. They already pitched 2 of 3 games since the break. You want to risk pitching them down 1 when theres no guarantee that we score anyways?????
  17. We know Sedar won't be stopping him Can anyone share the number of outs made at home plate by team. Curious to see how the brewers compare to the rest of league. Had this discussion in the Ed Sedar thread I believe... Was only about 10 and could think of 4-5 on contact plays or people running through stop signs etc....
  18. Gameday has strike 1 looking to Bell and the ball is literally on the plate it's so low on the graphic.
  19. My wife stopped by a "watch for flying balls and bats" sign before the game and questioned the bat part. Just leaned over to her and said "any more questions"?
  20. Blue Angels randomly passing over the ball park is an added perk today...
  21. Good win! I'm heading to my first game of the year tomorrow. Will be curious to see what the late inning relief looks like if we need to protect a small lead.
