  1. Does Krush always take practice swings with just his right hand?
  2. Maybe he's at the game, in which case the Giants should save time and just forfeit now. I haven't type lol in ages...but I literally did lol. And I needed that today. I believe the Brewers are what 67-2 in games he's attended? Yep, and that's just this year.

  4. Luc, and my first thought was, just missed it. Segura, and my first thought was, at least he squared it up. I can live with 12 like last year, but this year his power is non-existent.
  5. Any idea of the time frame that this could encompass? Pujols is the one that always looked the part to me, but was never linked to anything for sure.
  6. Wow, Kershaw 7 hits and 3 ER through 3 innings... Hope he is that guy in his next start.
  7. They have to have a closer angle than what there showing. They usually can zoom right in on the glove.
  8. Imo Parra passes the eye test very well in the OF. I don't buy whatever the defensive stats are selling on him. Great instincts, good speed, great glovework, & a great arm. You may be right that Taylor winds up as the big-league CF post-Gomez, but imo it'd be a really nice surprise if he's actually even better defensively (heck, or equal to) than Parra. I think Parra is in the same defensive tier, or just one tier below, the Gomezes of the MLB world. I think the Brewers could potentially extend Parra at a pretty reasonable rate, & obviously he could play any of the 3 OF spots going forward. It'd give the club a lot of flexibility. I think he passes the eye test the same way that one girl does in a group of ugly girls. We've watched Khris Davis struggle to play catch without bouncing the ball to Gomez in between innings. Him in CF is an entirely different story. If he was that good defensively, I suspect he'd have been playing CF. Not to mention I thought he took a terrible route on the double that bounced before the wall in during the 3 run rally. I think he's a good defensive LF'er with a very strong arm, but AZ hasn't had great defensive CF'ers and yet he's rarely played in center. You could get by with him, but I think he'd be well below average. What are you talking about? Doesn't he have 2 gold gloves?
  9. Kershaw gave up 5 hits through first two innings, maybe Dunn will out WHIP him... And maybe we'll catch Kershaw in a slump...
  10. If Luc goes hard straight into his leg and can't get to the base wouldn't that constitute an interference call?
  11. Smooth pop-up sliding catch at an awkward part of the wall too. Impressive in an outfield he's not familiar with.
  12. 20 minutes of terror started early. Back to back walks don't help you keep a lead.
  13. Nelson sure seems to have more than a # 3-4 starter upside. I know these hitters haven't seen him yet, and hitters will start to make adjustments. His "stuff" seems better than a lot of people give him credit for.
  14. Nerd goggles. Some of the players picked on Luc for being a nerd, and he's seemed to embrace the nerd power theme.
  15. This. Plus Gomez has proven he's a well above average hitter over the past couple years. This was a lull not the new norm. Let him swing his way out of it without moving him around the order
