  1. Thank you Jim. Very few of my mornings begin without the Link Report.
  2. Ned Yost will be on MLB Radio, after the break.
  3. I live in Milwaukee and the cable/ch info feature says that the game will be carried on both ESPN and FSN (subject to blackout on ESPN). Last night it did not say this.
  4. If we did it to Clemens...we can do it to Oswalt.
  5. Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for. Out of curiousity only...why are the only tables available from 1999-2002? Of course, to create a table like this takes a lot of resources, but I would think there would be different tables with larger/different samples available, too. Thanks again.
  6. I have seen this posted on bf.net before, but I am interested in seeing a table that lists "expected runs" for different situations during a baseball game (ex. runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out). Could someone post a link on where I could find a table with that information?
  7. JP said (and I agree)...Miller got tagged out to prevent a double play...a comebacker to the mounder, would have been an easy 1-6-3.
  8. I believe the "Sharpie" nickname comes from Doug's facial hair...last year especially. His mustache looked Captain Morgan-esque (almost like it was drawn on w/a sharpie. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  9. Coming into today... Carlos Lee has struck out 52 times in 341 ABS (15.2%) - Struck out 4 times in FLA - Has not struck out 3 times (coming into today)
  10. Wow. Patterson strikes out the side...Jenkins looking.
  11. C'mon Jenks!! We need one...25-30k in attendance...not bad.
  12. For what its worth... Brewers lifetime averages vs Carlos Silva Carlos Lee: 6-18, .813 OPS Junior Spivey: 3-6, 1.071 OPS Geoff Jenkins: 2-5, .800 OPS Damian Miller: 1-3, 1.000 OPS Brady Clark: 1-3, .833 OPS Lyle Overbay: 1-2, 1.000 OPS Russell Branyan: 0-1 Bill Hall: 0-1 Wes Helms: 0-3 Brewers collectively hitting vs Silva: 15 for 47, .319/.360/.447/.807, only 4 Ks Stats are from only 1 or two games, with the exception of Carlos. Interesting to note, it seems that Carlos has really handled Twins pitching well in the past. Including very nice numbers against both Radke and Santana. link
  13. If they really wanna test him out as a catcher...I'd say a full season, wouldn't you?
  14. I've always thought that Vandenberg should be given opportunity to start and progress up the minors.
  15. On the bright side...the Brewers are once again all alone in the NL Central...1/2 lead over the Astros w/Houston's loss today.
  16. Eckstein not pesky enough to do some damage... You gotta think the Brewers will score SOME runs today...
  17. Whelp...2 hits and a walk...and we come up empty.
  18. Brady Clark: Great at getting on base, poor at staying on base.
  19. Lots of Marquette students are planning on going to the game tonight.
  20. A Rickie Weeks error gives New Orleans a 2-0 lead in the 3rd. EDIT: They charged the above error to Durrington. 3-0 New Orleans, now.
  21. I don't feel like making a new thread for this question... Kryznel hasn't been sent down yet, has he?
  22. I can't get the Major League forum to work. All others work fine. When I click the link I get the following: Sorry, there is no ezboard page matching your request The page you are looking for either no longer exists, has moved or is temporarily unavailable. 23. Bits of capsules for Rey Ordonez and Neifi Perez "Ordonez did everytying in his power to counteract whatever momentum he might have gained from his 2003 campaign, a hot start fortuitously shortened by injury that some were mistaking for a breakout year..." "It's not that Neifi Perez is completely useless..."
