    Tomko's outings vs Milwaukee this season: 6/19: 6 1/3 IP, 9 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K (Win) 4/14: 5 1/3 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 6 K (Win) He's 2-0 against the Brewers this year but as I recall...and the numbers back me up, that the Crew have been able to hit Brett Tomko. I'm not exactly sure how he's won 6 out of his last 7 decisions...but I guess it couldn't hurt that the Cardinals have given Tomko run support of: 7, 9, 8, 13, 11, 8, 10, 3, 10, 3, 6, and 10 runs during each of his wins this season. I have a feeling 5 runs won't win tonight's game...and in an unrelated story I too am pulling for Mr. Obermueller to get his win.

    Extra innings w/a chance to take 2 of 3 from the Giants...eh, they let it get away from them in the 9th...but i can't say i'm upset.

    A nice play by Clayton and Richie to end the inning...Sexson with his 39th and 40th HR of the season...what do you do with an All-star firstbaseman who's only signed until next season Doug Davis looks like he's really focused today...for what that's worth.

    I too was there...Bill, you might not have there to see/hear it...but when there's 35,000 Cubs fans chanting "sweep, sweep", it's well...embarrassing, yeah. Oh well, they support their team....so it's hard to fault them.

    ...Good to see the bats working early, Pods w/2 hits and a SB already, but some squandered opportunities in the 2nd and 3rd innings... In an unrelated story...man does Juan Cruz's ball move...if he can ever develop consistent command...a 95+ mph fastball w/that kind of movement...
