  1. I love the capsules that accompany some of the Cubs bench players.

  3. Top 2nd- Hart: F7 N. 4. Spivey-Hardy-Prince, Double play. No damage done. 2-0 Crew.
  5. Homer, Look earlier in the thread...monster HR by Prince.
  6. Bot 1st - Hendrickson pitching Ichiro- 1B Jeremy Reed- 1B, Ichrio to 2nd Speizio- F8 (threw "dandy of a changeup") Sexson: BB (on 4 pitches), bases loaded Choo: Spivey to Hardy to Prince, double play 0 runs, 2 hits, 2 left. End of 1 2-0 Crew
  7. Just turned it on... Prince hits a monsterous homerun "man alive! what a bolt! homerun by Prince Fielder" he hit it to the concession stand off of a 3-2 count. "That might have been the longest HR I have ever seen hit to right field....what a shot by Prince Fielder!!" --seattle announcer
  8. Top 1st Roberts: BB, Roberts to 3rd Loretta: 1B (liner into center field) Klesko: GDP (Weeks turns the DP)
  9. Didn't wanna start a new thread, but I enjoy how Jeff Cirillo is an option for "who will lead the Brewers in batting average this season" on the homepage for milwaukeebrewers.com
  10. Hey, not sure if this was brought up in a different thread... In Baseball Prospectus 2005, on page 138, the text accompanying Callix Crabbe reads: "And, thanks to the indispensable BrewerFan.net, one of the best team-specific references on the web, we also know that he strides to the plate to the tunes of Sean Paul's "Like Glue." Wow. Nice job, Brian. Mention in Baseball Prospectus...
  11. I remember the Power 50 being the very first thing I looked at upon discovering brewerfan.net. Thought it was a really cool feature and have been lurking here ever since.
  12. Not that I'm computer savvy, but I've been having a lotta trouble accessing the site in recent days. Fair to assume, its caused by the high-traffic?
  13. Jenkins took care of that...Double play.
  14. I've got seats in the RF bleachers, right behind the Giants bullpen.
  15. By my unofficial count...it looks like its separated by one vote.
  16. They made Brady's sac fly seem heroic.
  17. You have to register and then log in...after I registered I noticed I couldn't vote either until i logged in.
  18. Braynan....stay hot. 5-5 game. Sounds like Branyan was in there at third.
  19. Yikes. A base hit and a 2 run error...
  20. Brewers website shows a 9 pm CST gametime.
  21. Fox Sports Net needs a team from Los Angeles to win in order to get high ratings... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif
  22. From the article "The Brewers need to reduce concession prices and elevate the quality of what they are selling." Sell a more expensive product for less...brilliant.
  23. I was at the game, too. Seeing everyone standing and screaming during the last few innings was amazing to say nothing of Sheets performance. Just when the Braves thought they'd sit curveball he'd blow a fastball by a motionless batter. A historically good pitching performance...what a great game, what an exciting team...
  24. Yeah, I typed it...I think the one that's usually used comes from USA Today...but I'm not sure.
