  1. It’s not like we gave up anyone valuable like KC Hunt…
  2. I’m guessing that’s not how that works. Unique content = unique URL. Unique content = more site visitors.
  3. Brewerfanatic writer creates an article, which ultimately gets posted to social media and distributed over email lists also creates a post in a forum. Five Skubal articles = five Skubal forum posts. It is a lot but it is automated and just part of elevating the popularity of the site.
  4. Made, Pena, Lara and Ashby for Skubal? Is that what was said?
  5. I don’t think Sanchez would even qualify as an emergency first baseman. Almost anyone else ahead of Gary.
  6. Sometimes we lose game one before winning the next two games and exit the series with a .667 winning percentage.
  7. 12 years in the bigs with Houston and 12 days with Milwaukee
  8. Dodgers would face Cubs or Phillies. Brewers would face Braves or Diamondbacks. That seems fine to me.
  9. It probably does not help the Brewers bargaining position If they go on the record saying they will pay any price for any needle mover.
  10. Rengifo’s 25 plate appearances for San Diego would extrapolate to 12 WAR over 600 plate appearances 🙂 I realize how absurd it is from every angle.
  11. Milwaukee is 23-19 when Gary Sanchez starts a game this season. However, that includes both catcher and designated hitter.
  12. Not a bad sweep considering our #7, 8 and 9 starting pitchers faced the top of the Marlins rotation.
  13. Civale to the Cubs. I’m not one for math but it is hard to see how Civale’s 2026 performance makes him above replacement level. Park factors and defense, I suspect. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/49395139/civale-joins-cubs-depleted-pitching-staff-trade-as
  14. Freddy Peralta against Brandon Sproat tomorrow. Winner wins the trade.
  15. I predict Julio Teheran levels of adequacy. Both Teheran and McCullers were age 32 seasons.
  16. Ouch. At the same time, San Francisco and Tampa both gave up on him too.
  17. Are Koenig and Anderson our leverage guys tonight? I’m sure Megill and Uribe could throw but one more day for each seems great.
  18. Is there a scenario when pinch running for Vaughn yielded the desired result?
  19. Crazy to think Cubs traded for Aroldis Chapman ten years ago.
