  1. For being the best regular season team in baseball, did we or will we win any individual awards in any category? 🙂
  2. I assume the expiring collective bargaining agreement makes Milwaukee more risk averse to committing long term money this offseason. Unless,…every team becomes risk averse and the Brewers sense an inefficiency. 🤷‍♂️
  3. I feel like we’ve all spoken our piece on Peralta. Let’s keep him for $8 M and take the draft pick. If we do trade him, let’s hope for something better than Ortiz and Hall 🙂 2026 Brewers will be the most likely team to win the division next year. Let’s have at least one top of the rotation veteran.
  4. The Cubs message board frequently suggests some owners are worried about the next CBA and would hesitate to commit additional long term money this offseason 🤷‍♂️
  5. Dancing with the Stars has a salary cap and competitive balance
  6. The Blue Jays do not have enough stars whereas the Dodgers have too many? 🤷‍♂️🙂
  7. Perkins seems very well liked by Murphy and the organization. We seem to place a fair emphasis on having good people in the clubhouse, too.
  8. From what I’ve read, Contreras would expect approximately $11 million in arbitration. I guess it’s easy for me to say that $1 million is no big deal in order to avoid arbitration in this instance. 🤷‍♂️
  9. I didn’t mind the Brewers taking Burnes to arbitration to save money. I think it is poor form to pay $100,000 buyout on Contreras for the opportunity to tell him why he isn’t worth $12 million. Contreras’ injuries this season are complicating but man…what a gritty 4 WAR season with .754 OPS. William certainly needed to grind in 2025.
  10. Nice to finish our offseason before November 🙂
  11. I don’t think we want to pay Freddy deep into his 30’s. Next year seems fine, though.
  12. I think Peralta deserves his own thread. For $8 M this year, Peralta provided 5.5 WAR and a 2.70 ERA over 33 regular season starts. Incredible value. Peralta has 30+ starts for three consecutive seasons. I’d rather have Peralta’s 2026 performance for $8 M than trade him for the equal or lesser equivalent of DL Hall and Joey Ortiz. Maybe a higher ceiling version of Caleb Durbin, if such a player is made available.
  13. I think we would likely win a series against either Seattle or Toronto.
  14. I think it’s worth remembering that very few pitchers (especially ones that throw 102+ mph) go meaningfully beyond 5 innings.
  15. Heart of our order to leadoff the eighth…
  16. For as overmatched as we’ve been, we’ve sort of been competitive in 2 of the 3 games 🤷‍♂️
  17. I hope Isaac turns things around next year. He could be in Nashville.
  18. We almost mounted a rally during the ten minutes we faced a reliever earlier in the week
  19. We could get nine outs against Dodger bullpen 💪
  20. I was saddened to have forgotten this: #HRforHank
