    If we end up needing to play musical chairs with our rotation, I assume we let the veterans pitch and tuck the younger players back in Nashville until 2026 or after the trade deadline. Quintana, Woodruff and Civale all deserve rotation spots. If Civale pitches well enough, does he get us a lottery ticket at the deadline? Hall should get a chance to start. Ashby can probably try starting again, too. Gasser we can be patient with until 2026. Cortes and Connor Thomas we probably don’t need to worry much about. Thomas presumably gets another shot, though?

    Absolutely! There is nothing left to prove in Nashville. That doesn’t mean he’s a finished product but goodness. 1.46 ERA 0.89 WHIP Peralta, Henderson, Patrick, Myers, Misiorowski and Priester (until more arms get healthy)

    Is there anything left for Misiorowski to accomplish in AAA? 7 IP, 1 ER, 5 K, 1 BB on 86 pitches today 1.46 ERA this year with 0.89 WHIP Peralta, Henderson, Patrick, Myers, Misiorowski (Priester until someone gets healthy) Woodruff return is delayed. Quintana injured. Civale 🤷‍♂️ Not sure if Hall or Ashby are long term starters.

    Nice to see Rasmussen healthy this year. Brewers got more WAR in the Adames trade. Feyereisen had 2 WAR in 61 IP for TB but had been below replacement level since.

    We have multiple promising third baseman in the minors. In one sense, we shouldn’t want more than a stop gap at 3B to not block Boeve or Wilken, right?

    I haven’t followed the Pirates closely. They seem disappointing even by Pirate standards.

    When Woodruff, Civale, Ashby and Hall are healthy it will be interesting to see who gets sent down. Priester is easy. Rodriguez, sure. Patrick seems to fit in Milwaukee so far. Tyler Alexander on the bubble? We might have more pitchers than roster spots. It does seem like additional injuries (both real and imagined) sort this out. Connor Thomas?

    Devin Williams enters the game with a 3-0 lead in the 8th. Strikeout Walk Single Strikeout Walk Pulled for Luke Weaver Double Single Walk Groundout 4-3 Padres now. I probably would have left Devin in as loading the bases with walks and soft contact is part of the show. Anyway, 3 more ER to Devin. ERA back over 10.
