If your team performed like the Rockies did in this series you'd cry too.
-
Braun would have had to have been a world class hurdler to avoid the ball there.
-
Anyone notice if Anderson and Davies are with them? Yes, and I thought I saw Thames in the locker room celebration.

We could hear that on the broadcast of the Badger game last night! At first I wasn't sure if I was hearing it correctly.

Maybe it is just southwest FL but I see a lot more Red Sox fans here than Yankee fans.

It's been fun and torturous. I actually prayed when we played game 163 in Wrigley. I sure didn't want to have to play a winner take all WC game. These past 2 games against the Rox have been a really tense affair. I got frustrated when we couldn't get runners in from 3rd with less than 2 outs. (This has been an issue all season and I hope we fix that big time if we move on to the NLCS and beyond. We can't do that against the Dodgers, Yankees or Red Sox. ) I feared sooner or later Colorado's offense was going to wake up. We really had to take the first 2 games so even if we lost both in Denver we would still come back to MP. My blood pressure returned to almost normal when Kratz got that hit and drove in the last 2 runs in the 8th. I figured even if the Rox's offense came alive it would be hard for them to get 4 or more in the 9th. I'm glad we all have a day off!!

When we first moved here 13 years ago there was a store near us that sold sports memorabilia and clothing. It had stuff with the logos of all sorts of teams and sports. After searching for a while I finally asked the young man working there if they had any Brewers shirts and he didn't know what a Brewer was!!! I had to explain the Crew was a National league baseball team. That store is closed now but it it is still difficult to find anything down here. I have get my stuff when we are in Green Bay during the summer months.

I think it is just BSPN. You really have to scour their site to find anything about the Crew. If we end up in the NLCS then they'll have to cover us.
-
No kidding. Is he doing this to appease Rockies fans tuning in?
-
Yes One good thing about the game on Sunday is it is on MLB Network. The Packers game should be over by then.
-
Have we lost 3 in a row at any time this season?
-
You have to say it like "Gooood"

Getting us insurance runs in the 8th.

I think we got a gift there.

Yes, he wasn't as sharp as he was in Chicago but he kept us in the game. Nice job.

Dear lord. If that foot isn't in Perez' way he is easily safe.
-
The second straight day with a crappy home plate ump. What is going on here? I thought the best ones did the post season games??
-
We left far too many runners on base plus we had guys at 3rd that we couldn't bring in even with a long fly ball. This has been an issue this year and if we don't fix that it will come back to bite us in the rear against a team like the Dodgers/Red Sox/Yankees going forward.

Aguilar had a bad day at the plate. He did walk late in the game but he struck out a lot.

CC is as impassive as the Sphinx during these games. When they show him in the dugout you can't tell if we are ahead or behind...
-
Braun and Jesus back to back, and Shaw way down there, yes first I've seen that ! I STRONGLY dislike starting Perez... and just don't know where he gets his good numbers vsL's from, because every time he has started it seems he does nothing and does not have good at bats..... PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROVE ME WRONG TODAY HERNAN! lol. Lets hang some crooked numbers today and have an easy day from the bullpen side for once. I truly don't understand what CC sees in Perez. Yes, he is versatile and all that but there has to be somebody better at the plate than this guy.

When the guys were spraying champagne all over the Cards' visiting locker room the other day his teammates were chanting MVP like crazy while dousing him on his head.

It has been fun to read it this morning.
